Should IPL include Pakistan players?

IPL has been leaving out Pakistani cricket players. Do you think they should be allowed to play or continue keeping them out. I think it's better to have play because that would bring mutual understanding between the two countries.

I think they should be allowed. A cricketer's career span is limited. Now, when they win the IPL, the victory cannot be termed as comprehensive primarily because they did not defend every cricket team across the world. Having said that...it might be better to find a foreign venue for those matches instead of playing them in India.

In my opinion it is okay even if the play in India. They won't harm India; in fact good relationship is good for both. Why do people have to hate each other!

I think it always matters when India and Pakistan are involved coz both countries have same passion for a sport which is considered as religion. Also, one should not discourage Pakistan players to play in IPL as these players have only this medium to earn their money and support their family. We should realize as we know what is poverty and unemployment, which is rampant in our country

As far as inclusion of Pakistani players is IPL is concerned, I guess its best if we leave it to the authorities concerned. There are far too many repercussions of allowing Pakistanis play in India. A certain group of Indians are totally against having Pakistanis in India and they can get violent if ignored. That is something we definitely don't want. Also, especially after the alleged involvement of the Pakistani troops in the killing of Indian soldiers recently, I doubt if things will change. Its sad but extremism might never let India and Pakistan become friends.

In my opinion IPL should allow the inclusion of Pakistan players also. There should be no discrimination in that. It's really unfair that Pakistan players are not included in IPL and rest all players are only because they are just Pakistani's. They didn't do any crime to the humanity then why should they are kept out? The only thing I didn't like about IPL is this thing. Thanks for starting this discussion.

Ofcourse we should. For decades we have tried to bridge the gap via art, music and culture and letting them play in our league is yet another step to it. There should be no politics in sports. Its only one minor segment of political community whose area of influence spreads no more than a single metropolitan city (I mean they don't even have a large felt presence in their own state and I don't need to take their names as you guys know them very well..) whose against them playing in this event and the reason they put forward is the historical rivalry between the two of us. Well according to me its really stupid. Where does this patriotism go when they raise campaigns to stop north Indians from entering or working in their city. Its yet another BS issue they have come up with trying to keep their political presence felt.
