My situation makes me lost...

China

Well when I think of my situations now, it's like I'm stuck between the past and future. I cannot get back to the past, nor can I see a clear picture of the future. As a student that is to graduate in a few months, I'm facing thesis, graduation and employment issues, and I don't know how my future would gonna be, how is it like, what will I be, or whether can I support myself with my salary, whether I could meet the Mr. right and get married in the due time, and everything! It's like a great, mysterious turning point, and I'm kind of lost in here...

Maybe you think a lot sarah. :) JUst enjoy the daily life and situation that you are having and I believe, right things will follow. You will not see the brighter things if you worry too much. I think most people came to a point in their lives that it seems on a cross road or a "crisis". Again, just enjoy every minute of your life and everything will follow. Keep smiling and goodluck on your thesis and goodluck on the new phase that you will enter upon graduation!

Thank you dear:) I love your words "right things will follow", and I know I need to pull myself together and start working on it. I'm learning everyday now, for the exams and interview. I believe these efforts will pay off. Have a very nice day bluespygirl!:D

I used to feel that way when my days in school is about to end and my life in the outside world is about to start. The best thing to do is to take one step at a ime, a day at a time. The future is not promised, and the only permanent thing in the world is change. We cannot change the past and we cannot really foretell what is to happen. We might even miss the more important stuff if we are to be so stressed about worrying what is to be.

Hey, don't worry. These strange feelings keep coming in our lives and we feel lost, down and sad many times. But these changes are inevitable. You must accept it and hope for the best. Of course, if you are good you will get a good job. And don't be too tensed about being in love and getting married. First focus on finding a good job for yourself and then half your worry is solved.

It's when you think about your life you often feel confused. But real work needs to be done so as to fight for a better result, and I know being immersed in those blurry feelings is no good. Thank you for your reassuring and kind words. I love it!

Hello Sarahliuliwen! You think too much. Just try to focus on one thing first. Why dwell on the past and be worried on your future? Focus on the things that you have to do now. Like thesis and graduation. After that, focus on finding a job and so on and so forth. You'll be surprised that you'll overcome all of that. Lots of things can happen and who knows, you might be very lucky to find Mr. Job and Mr. Right at the same time?

Sarahliuliwen, being confused is normal especially if you have aimed to achieve something good for your future. Just take it one day at a time then try to savor your daily achievements, for all you know you are already up there, receiving the laurels of your hard work.

Good afternoon, dear friend.I come from China, too. What is your major in college? i find it is very important for looking for a job after graduation. In China, get a decent job is not a easy thing. You should take each advantage of your professional technology, work hard, relation resorce and so on. Every one will face it,you just need to summon up courage to try it,then hope for good results.

My major is English interpreting (MTI student). My parents expect me to be a English teacher and I kind of like this job. But interpreting will be more challenging and profitable. I'm balancing the two now, and maybe I'll take interpreting or translation as a part-time job. Thank you for your advice, that means a lot. Good luck every day!

Well, I think don't push yourself too much pressure.. Live by the moment, focus on your thesis first and make sure to pass all the requisites. and from there move on to the next. all your concerns are vital and you can not be succesful on doing them all simultaneously. Because when you stress yourslef too much all those mentioned above, you might fail your thesis and lose the chance of graduating and experience the luxury of being stress free about employment issues,. Now you have to take a break, condition yourself and focus on your thesis, :)

Yeah you're right, I cannot complete all the tasks at the same time. But good news: I've completed the thesis now, so things are much easier than they used to be! And I feel accomplished and encouraged. Thank you Kathylabayan:)

yes you are right. initially when you feel like this, it is very good for any one leave all thing as is where is basis and go for walk in garden or beach most importantly discuss this situation to your close one like mother or father or any best friends because some time the problem is nothing but your fears hide the right selection and illusions disturb you meditation is the good for you if you believe it.

The feelings that you are going through now is something that is completely natural to have to go through in your life. You are coming very close to the end of a chapter in your life and that will naturally be something that will make you reminescent for the past because you cannot go back through and repeat those things that have happened to you in the past. And of course, just like you are not able to relive your past, you aren't able to tell the future and because of that, you don't know what is still to come in your life.

We all go through this transition phase. The past no longer serves us, present is what we have to deal with, while the future awaits us. It's quite normal and understandable to feel the way you are doing. But take everything in your stride, don't let the pressure overwhelm you. Pressures fade away with time. Relax, all is well.
