Hi susan0908, I'm here to learn language as well. Other than reading latest online newspapers frequently to learn more. I read posts here often to improve my language. dict cn and jin shan ci ba is en essential tools for me to translate english to chinese and vice versa. Most of the difficult words I checked, example of sentences are available. You have to download the free jin shan ci ba dictionary. The online dict cn can help us to translate sentence from chinese/english to english/chinese I depend a lot on these when I was new here. Nowadays I at least don't have to use these that often. Let's enhance our language reading and typing posts here frequently Happy posting and have a nice day.

You are very much susan0908 I'm still in the learning stage to enhance my speaking language. Other than to get more chance to speak English in daily life, I find watching movies or tv series with English subtitle is very good in improve our language as well. Let say I don't understand Korean and certainly I have to read the subtitle to understand what the conversation about. I purposely choose English as the first subtitle so as to force myself to read them. I would jot down the words I don't understand and have a check referring to dictionary. Of course only watching online movie we then have the convenience to have a pause. I mostly watch Korean tv series on Viki site. One of my friends enhances his speaking language by watching English movies with the same language subtitle almost everyday. He emphasizes that he reads out loud the subtitle at the same time I can see him improving a lot in speaking after doing so for quite some time. Keep it up persistently, certainly we can speak fluently soon

I think if you want to translate well, firstly take efforts to learn English. As you are 23, I don't know if you are at school or at work. Anyway you can choose the proper material to study by yourself. Translation requires good language command of both English and Chinese, so it's hard to achieve an ideal proficiency. But I think when you're expressing your ideas, or talking in English, you don't necessarily have to translate it. You just try to think and speak in English. You can only realize that by long-term study. If you have some other questions, try me:)

It may help you to remember word order? Subject, verb, adjective, objects, place, time I will give the old documents to you at the pub tomorrow In this sentence both 'documents' and 'you' are objects Of course, as in most things in English, there are as many exceptions as rules but it may help start with all the best, urban

Hi, susan! I suggest you don't use any translation tools since you love english.I think you should read and write down more about how to express their feelings or views in english from native speakers and you quote them and make most use of them in your future life.If you find it really difficult to express it propely, then you should ask someone for answer. You need to know how to organize your sentence in english, and translation tool somehow is not capable of doing that since it is not a human brain.

all you need to do is buy a chenese to english dictionary and practice a single word memorize it after it the second word again until you can use that word in a sentence if you do it often im sure you can speak chinese as soon as possible.
