yeah, there are those movies, that are not very scary the first time you are watching it. But then when it is already night you remember some of those scary scenes and imagine them. You remember the scary objects in the movie that are found in your house.. and NOW you get scared.. yeah, that’s what I am feeling now.. ANd now i am going to put on some fun music to loose that feeling.

I won't go to the extent of saying that I'm a big fan of scary movies, but there has never been a scary movie that I've seen that is something that has caused me to develop fears after I've seen the movie. I think that the reason that this has never been something that really bothered me is because of the fact that I know that everything that happens on movies are engineered as opposed to being things that really have happened.

You are quite lucky you never think of those scary stuff after seeing the movie.. hat is my mentality whenever i am watching gore films though, which is why i never get turned off or digsuted by all that blood and what else, since i know it's just props, it might even be edible.

i remember when i was in high school. together with my friends, i watched "the ring" movie. who would forget sadako? i remember we were so scared of tv sets turned off because it may suddenly turn on and sadako would spring out from the screen. but of course, i'm not that affected anymore today.

Yes, i actually watched the Ring a month ago in my friend's house.. but we just became bored a bit, and we were all girls too. Since the movie was just building up the mood and not many scary scenes- just scary sounds.. although Sadako coming out the the screen really scared me for a while.

No movie does it for me anymore. The Ring had that effect for a while after I've seen it for the first time when it came out. The Project Blair which was similar but not to that extend. Actually the last movie that kinda creeped me out was 4th kind. The movie was pretty bad but there was this whole owl thing that was kinda creepy.

I have not seen the Fourth kind although i did read some reviews and most of them were good. The Ring - both Japanese and American version did not scare me though, i am more scared of the Grudge since they really show those ghosts/spirits/grudges- whatever you call them.

I for one, is not fond of watching scary movies but sometimes, I too get curious to find out if it's really scary. Movies now a days really impresses me and because of technology and with enough budget, most directors can show what the viewers really like to see. And in doing so even after viewing it, we still remembers those scary scenes and gets frightened especially when we are alone.

Yes, the great special effects really add to the scariness of the movie.. But then i guess it is not all the effects, it also has something to do with the acting and of course the story.. especially if the horror story relates to stuff that is used daily, like phones, tv, etc..

I love watching scary movies! In fact we just watched one old scary film last night. I don't feel scared but I normally jump on my sit or scream LoL!. But after watching it, I'll forget about it. Hostel 1 is the movie that has scared me. Maybe becoz I was watching it while the room is really so dark.

I agree with you. I think I have watched a couple of movies that are supposed to scare me but then again I would just be disappointed in them. Rarely though that I won't be scared at night or just when I am alone anywhere I will imagine things that I might see this, or be scared by a ghost. Sometimes even when I am taking a shower and close my eyes I imagine seeing something after I open my eyes.

yeah, i know how you feel, especially since the ghosts/spirits/curse of the grudge and the ring just appear anywhere. So you are never safe. I actually imagine Toshio in some parts of the house, and wonder if he would fit in those small spaces.

I sometimes watch supposedly scary movies and I can see where and why they are scary but I don't get scared by them. I know they are movies. They don't bother me later. I don't think it is because I'm a guy since I'm not one who thinks that makes any difference in such things. I know that a movie like "Dark Water" was very good and I liked it a lot but I personally wasn't scared. Some others like the Chainsaw Massacre ones are fun to watch but again I don't get scared for myself.

I have not seen dark Water, but i did know that there are 2 versions of it..the Asian one and the American one. I love gore movies too- good thing they do not scare me even after i watch them. I have read the synopsis though and it is a nice film.. touching even. The trailer made it seem really scary though.

I am not fond of scary movies for simple reason. I don't wanna scare myself. When I watch movie I wanna feel good and get entertained, not to get scared and frightened. So when the movie is horror... I don't watch and I also forbid my little ones to watch horror movies because I noted it does not have good effect in them. They act the same way you do. The thought of the scary scenes would not leave their mind. They can't even stay in their room alone. They always think, a ghost is behind them. So they become cowards and that is not good.

I think that the The Hills Have Eyes 'monsters' bothered me more because it could happen and is so icky to think about. So it is awful on several levels. The Saws has come good writing and those eery "do you want to play a game" is great writing.

Yeah, i saw that movie a few years back but i was not scared anymore since i saw films with similar monsters...although in Hills have Eyes, their monsters are scarier- looking.. I was more scared of the first Saw films since i keep replaying Jigsaw's "do you want to play a game" in my head.

The only show that ever scared me and still does to this day is Halloween. The original or the remakes by Rob Zombie.

I have seen one or 2 Halloween film. The big guy is definitely scary, he's called Mike Myers right, jut like the actor. he is pretty scary, his face and he is so huge. Jason Vorhees scares me too, and Freddy Kreuger scared me in the first 2 original movies.

I am not so familiar with his story.. all i know is that when he was a kid he killed some of his family members... but he loved his mother dearly? or did he kill her too.. and in some sequels he is coming for his sister.

Yes Mike Myers, and to this day I can't watch them without someone by me.

When I was much younger and my schedule is not as tight as these days, I prefer to watch those scary movies. But now I could not longer watch movies of any kind because of my work schedule. Although they are scary I remember I really enjoy watching those kid of movies. Have a nice day!

I like to watch scary movies, but I am such a big scaredy cat. That is why I always ask people to join me just so I wouldn't have to watch it alone. But one time, I have to watch the first Paranormal Activity on my laptop and using a headphone because everyone else (my roommates) have seen it. I swear they almost killed me because I keep on shouting. And for someone who doesn't know what I am up to, it can be quite disturbing that I will just yell all of a sudden.

I am a scaredy cat too- but then i still love to watch horror films. I just don't know why- i always say to myself that this will be the last horror film that i would watch ,but when another one that seems good comes out, i look for a copy and watch it- alone. Since when i'm with my friends i cannot concentrate- or they make fun of each other.

I saw that movie, it is quite the classic... and many people have been saying it is uber scary but when i saw it, i was a little bored and had to scan it a few times to get to the scary part.. and it was not that scary, except for the part where she climbed down the stairs backwards..

Well, most of the times i do not watch it just before i go to bed. I watch it in the afternoon, and when i am alone at night, i kind of flashback to those scary scenes. So it doesn't really matter much, whenever i watch it. It's just my really scary imagination.
