yeah! the neighbor with the loud mexican music is gone! she moved! i can't believe it. i probably complained about her so much on mylot, that the UNIVERSE heard it and granted my wish. i couldn't go complain to anybody about the noise. i couldn't go to her for fear of confrontation. i was stuck....but now....IM FREE!!!!! do you know what i did this morning. i went out to my backyard and had a cigarette and some coffee in peace and quiet! my daughter and i even did math class outdoors because it was such a nice peace and quiet day without all that annoying mexican music. a few people was happy that she was doing that to me and annoying me with it on purpose. a few people on here was probably glad i was stuck with it. thanks to all who understood me and just didn't classify me as a racist. thanks for all who didn't judge me. for all who did and wanted her to annoy me....TAKE THAT! SHE'S GONE! i don't have to put up with her and that music anymore. good ridenns! ha ha ha

i wouldn't mind if it had to be rap. i would rather that than mexican music, if i MUST be forced to listen. and i don't even like rap, either. still, better than mexican music.

Just because you didn't like her music and it was too loud and annoying doesn't mean u were racist. Tho it's good she is gone please don't say god ridenns cause that's mean. Just because she did something to you on purpose doesn't mean you have to hate her just be glad she is gone and the music with her but don't be mean to say good riddens. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I am glad tho that now you can have your peace and quiet

i meant no harm by good riddens. i meant it figuratively, not literally. i am NOT glad she is gone for only one reason. her son and my daughter were friends.

Moon i'm sorry your daughter lost friend when the lady moved but i am so glad for you getting your peace and quiet. I understand your meaning now of good riddens. I am sorry if i sounded mean but i thought you mean good riddens in another way. Again sorry for your daughter losing her friend but glad u got the peace u want.

there are many reasons for this to be upsetting! Saying you're racist for that would be pretty ignorant of them in my opinon.

Oh my goodness I know what you are talking about. I live in Puerto Rico and I love Puerto Rican music but not for hour after hour. There is a karooke bar down the street from me and on Friday, Saturdays and sometimes Sundays they are singing these songs so loud that I have to raise the volume on my TV. It is so annoying. Someone in October stole their equipment so we had peace until January when they started up again. It just gets on my nerves. I totally know you are in seven heaven with her gone. I'm sure you had to deal with it everyday of the week right? I guess I should start complaining to the Universe and see what happens. That was a great line loved it!

Hoorah! I'm so pleased for you, I really am. Conversely, do you remember when I said I've quiet neighbours? Well, the two women (mother and daughter) on one side have suddenly decided to start playing music roundabout midnight. Last night I didn't go to bed until around 1.30am and I couldn't sleep. Now, the music isn't loud..just..irritating. I don't know what to do as I am well known at Impact Housing as I've complained such a lot in the past (the organisation these people will rent off) but I don't want any aggro so early on, considering these neighbours have been brilliant for the last few months. What I cannot understand is..why now? Perhaps they've gone and bought something that will play their music, I don't know. I may send Impact an email about it. You might be my Lucky Mascot with this. Please send me your own positive vibes, I really need them right now.

I managed to sleep OK last night but not before I emailed Impact Housing. This time round I made sure I was anonymous but they will be able to figure out who I am I should think. Their music is on now (not loud) but we shall see what develops after midnight. There's something to be said for living in a detached house in the middle of nowhere!

that's a good news! i'm so happy for you. you now have a peaceful environment therefore you will also have a peace of mind. noisy neighbors are so annoying especially those who don't give considerations to the neighborhood, they think they are the only people on Earth and the only children of God, hahahaa. Have a wonderful day every day! let's drink to that, lol.

That's good that you are getting your peace and quiet. But it seems like I can read "mexican music" in almost all your comments on here. I mean, you don't have to stress that out because it may sound racist which you obviously don't mean. But you can just say "loud music". What if someone who is mexican is able to read this, this may hurt them since they like their music and obviously proud if their music. Just be careful with words since this is an internet, people may see and may not approve of what you are saying.

i am not going to change my views or my words. i am sorry. i don't like mexican music. that still doesn't make me a racist. people maybe not need be so sensitive. after all, this IS the internet, as you say.

I was just thinking that exact same thing while reading through this. It sounds as if you would be ok with the music and the loudness only IF it were heavy metal, rap or something that you liked. So it does sound as if it is just the Mexican music and not the noise itself. I actually do get what you are saying because I don't care for certain types of music myself and certain ones would just annoy me more than others.I agree with Machatago though...choosing words is important. Maybe you could have left it at "her type of music" was driving you nuts rather than to continually specify it as being "Mexican"??? Rap and country, heavy metal are not personal but "Mexican"...now that's just a bit more personal.

Thank you! I'm glad you agree with me! The only thing that was bothering me is the word mexican all through out.

I think that being loud and and causing a disturbance to the neighbors does not look at race. Anybody who plays music way too loud, specially at inappropriate hours, deserve to be complained at. It's great that you can now enjoy some peace and quiet at your own backyard. Maybe your neighbor moved to a better place too!

That sound like the best thing ever happen to you this time around, Congratulation! It is just too good to be true that your prayer is answered and your complaint in Mylot is taken noticed, that obnoxious neighbor of your actually gone for good, hopefully it is the end of it you ever have to face with such an inconsiderate and selfish person ever live as your neighbor. I can fully understand how much joy you can have it back now after the peace and quiet are restored, since you had being denied peace in your daily life for so long by your daft neighbor next door, you can now live once again without all these annoying noises coming from her anymore, SHE"S GONE!!! Like i told you before, life is grand!

That is sure a great news my friend, actually even if she was still there, you can still file a case against her. If what you said, is that she plays loud music then its against the law, playing such loud music disturbing its neighbor is already a noise pollution. I think every city has an ordinance that monitors and regulate this law. Don't get to happy, maybe she just went out for a vacation, you'll never know if she'll come back again. Just be prepared..

Isn't it always such an odd treat when we are able to get rid of neighbors that get on our nerves? I know that we have these neighbors next door to us that are renters and I would love nothing more than for them to move out of the house. The reason is because they just take every little thing and give the kids trouble over it (down to riding their bikes too close to their vehicles that they park on the road). When the day comes that they move out from the house I will have a block party celebration with all of the other parents on the street.
