updating one's mylot interests topics / myLot

so i've already updated my friends list and no i did not delete anyone and i'm still trying to find ways how to mylot effectively so i figured i'll update my mylot interests. what i did was that i looked at my mylot interests individually and checked the last time there was a discussion created there and the last time i actually participated in that interest topic. i'm gone through most of my interest topic and so far i haven't deleted any interest topic yet. i did find some cool discussions to participate in so that's a definite plus. so my fellow mylotters, do you update your interest topics as well? how often do you do it and how do you go about it? feel free to chime in my fellow mylotters!!! cheers and happy mylotting!!!

I have never updated their interests. but it's nice because as you say, you can find so many new things. I will do this thing. Thanks nice day ~!

I have a very long list of interests in my profile, and I think that it would be easier to manage the list I deleted some of the interests where there haven't been any activity for severals years or interests where there are no discussions or very few discussions. Some time ago I did delete some of the interests with no activity at all, but there are still many interest categories with with little or actitivity in my list, and it would take a lot time to go through them all. There are many similar topics for instance the topics "travel", "traveling" "travel the world" and "traveled" They have different names, but they all deal with the same topic. If I am interested in a certain topic I usually choose many different interests about that topic because I don't want to miss the interesting discussions.

I only have a handful interest topics attached to my profile so I am pretty much on top of each one of them all the time.

Good to know that you updated your mylot friends list and interest. I am also interested in updating my profile, friends list and interest. It is good to update them once in a while.
