Some of us had the privilege of looking at the proposed new look of myLot, ofcourse by accident!
. It is disturbing that they did not involve us asking for our suggestions. There is still time and I hope they will throw open an arena for us to participate.
I have so many great ideas. How about you?

The new look had our names there which is a breach of privacy. That has now been removed after a few of us alerted Admin.

I never got to see it, so I don't raslly know what changes they will be implementing. change is good, but not if it going to be harder to navigate the site. Personally, I like it just the way it is. I have been here almost 4 years, and I have got used to it being the way it is. I just hope that whatever changes they make, will benefit us, and not be ones that will make it difficult for us to navigate the site. I will still be here no matter what, no matter what it looks like after they change it, as I do enjoy myself immensely. as I have lots of fun in here, and that is what mylot is all about. It isn't about the mponey, even though it is a good incentive to want to be here. i just feel that the fun that I have in here, outweighs any earnings I have made or will make. Take care.

seriously I wo uld love a edit button right under post so we c an remedy the one error we missed really and a lot of us want that too. also speed up the loading for a site with new improvements its slower than molasses in January and thats too slow for modern site.

I too spend most of my free hours here. I enjoy this place. But there are a few things that I feel if added could make life a bit better for us.For example, I find it difficult to navigate looking for comments made on responses. We stop getting notifications after a while. May be they could do something there.

It could be really great if a the new site is made out of the collaboration of the whole community itself. But then, they have the option to decide on their own and think of what could be the best to do about it to make our Mylot experience a lot more fun.

I think they should ask us for our opinions on the new site. I mean, there are a lot of people here who have been here a long time. I have a few ideas, nothing major or anything. But mostly, I don't want a block feature here, I don't want it to look or be anything like facebook or twitter or any other site. I am at MyLot because I LOVE it here!

I have yet to see a site as friendly as this one. It already has good features but if we are given the opportunity to look at what is in store may be we may have something to say about it. I too am not in favour of a block feature.

My ONLY request would be that, the Powers That Be, be more in touch with the users and keep us informed of CHANGES, and proposed CHANGES! KEEP US IN THE LOOP!I am not the only one that was totally chagrined, by the latest blindsiding!
There are rumours flying...a Twitter or FB variance..and I am just NOT interested!

That was too much perga. Not all are comfortable with telling the Net who they are and just a name is enough for the public to get more info.I only hope those who value their privacy were not exposed.
If we are provided space to contribute I have some ideas.

We could suggest but implementation is not in our hands.
The test page is no longer visible to the public. So no one would have had access to your personal data, unless some here would have rushed to do that which I doubt.

hi allknowing yes before always theyhasked for our opinions nolw I think perhaps they have listened to those who will onlyh stay here a co uple of weeks anyway and leave.. I wish they would now ask our opiniolns and ask for our ideas from those of us w3o are steady

While myLot is indeed a good place to be - a place to unwind, we would certainly be happy if we are told about the changes and invited to give suggestions. I find nothing wrong if we are involved.

Actually, from what Lamb said, they are going to give us the option to show our real names or not. Maybe somebody did suggest that.

GAA did mention in his discussion, after we raised a shindig (I was one of them) that there would be a provision but one need not put their real name. I find this odd really. Also the block feature is a no no as far as I am concerned.

I'm very curious what changes would come and what changes they tested that some accidentally discovered besides seeing our real name. Anyway I think it's not required anyway to put our real name in our profile. So even if others see your profile, I'd still okay as long as you didn't put in your real identity

Do you really belive that your involvement or the involvement of a few others would have any kind of impact on what they want to do? Sorry, you are on the wrong tracks. Nothing means anything to anyone and it is just what they want.

They did involve us earlier when they had made changes. And this time some of us accidentally had a look at the revised page where our real names appeared which is an uncalled for exposure. We need to look at the new page so that we can suggest changes and not having our names displayed could be one of them.

As it stands today we are all happy with myLot but they are planning on making some changes. We want that we be involved in these changes.
