Nausea and vomit during pregnancy is a common symptom, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy. But, there are many pregnant women do not feel the symptom. When I ask them, they cannot give me an explanation, why they feel so fit and do not feel nausea and vomit. Hello friends...Could you give me a reason why some pregnant women do not feel nausea and vomit like me?

Some ladies cope well with hormonal changes in pregnancy. These sorts don't tend to experiencing the nausea and vomiting. The first trimester can feel up and down with sick feelings for some ladies. Week 9 can be a peak time for feeling much nausea. There is term called morning sickness. I felt sick in the evening but wasn't sick around weeks 4 to 12 weeks pregnancy. In normal life my sister suffers terrible migraines and these are hormonal problems I believe. She has had 4 pregnancies in her lifetime so far. She never gets migraine when she is in a pregnancy. Hormones are not seen yet they can affect how a pregnant or a not pregnant lady feels.

Ye, you are right... nausea and vomit during pregnancy is caused by hormonal changes, and it is very painful for me. I think this is heredity from our family because most of my sister also experience this symptoms. Thank you for your response.

But you said you feel nausea and vomit in another post of yours.. :? Every woman feels differently during pregnancy, you can not compare it. Its not necessary that a woman would feel the same things in all her pregnancies,Even one female can face totally different things during her first, second or further pregnancies. Thats all depends on hormonal changes inside the body according to one's physical conditions at that time.Thats what i know..

The women who dont feel nausea and vomiting is because their body has accepted that hormonal changes very well..

Hi, Srisahara. Must be the same for strange food cravings too, because it never happened to me unlike most expecting moms From what I've read, you are more likely to become sick during pregnancy if your mom or other women in your family also experienced the same, if you are carrying twins, triplets, etc, are prone to motion sickness, have a history of being ill after taking birth control pills or suffer migraine headaches. Perhaps the reason is because those women don't fit that list.

I had terrible morning sickness during my first and fourth pregnancy. And I would constantly eat bland food so that I may be able to control it. But here is what I have found: Some studies have shown that you are more likely to have morning sickness if: You have a history of migraines. You had nausea and vomiting in a prior pregnancy. You have a medical history of negative side effects of nausea and vomiting from trying birth control pills. Some women have this response to higher estrogen levels. You tend to have motion sickness. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_every_pregnant_woman_experience_morning_sickness If your mother or sisters have had morning sickness, there are studies to suggest that there is higher chance you will, due to a genetic predisposition. One study found that you are 50% more likely to have morning sickness with severe nausea and vomiting if your baby is a girl. You have twins or other multiples. There are higher levels of pregnancy hormones in your system when carrying twins, which also can make it so the symptoms are worse than average in some women. But it is not universal, some mothers of twins have no nausea or vomiting at all.

Hi jenny..., I do not have a history of migraines, I also do not have a medical history of negative effect of birth control pills, and I think i do not pregnant with twins, I think my nausea and vomit during pregnancy because of a genetic predisposition. Thank you for your sharing it is very useful for me...

Well, I know that women feel vomit specially in their first 3 months of pregnancy but I do not know why they do not feel vomit like you. that is too good, becuase I suffer so much with vomiting during my pregnancy that is because of changing some hormons in our body.

Yes, you are right friend.Nausea and vomit in most of pregnant women is caused by changing some hormones in our body, and it is normal. But, some other pregnant women do not feel these symptoms in their pregnancy, it is so strange I think...
