My son went to Monster Jam last night

Last night my 10 year old son went with a friend and his family to Monster Jam, where a bunch of Monster Trucks drive around smashing into old beat up cars. I've personally never been to one before.. or if I have I was too young to remember. It's not really something I'm interested in. But my son had a great time. The family he went with gave me a disc of pictures they took.. all of them are of the trucks and the tricks the trucks were doing. They do seem to have some pretty cool trucks.. for those who are into them.
Anyway, I'm glad my son went and had a good time. It's definitely something that's right up his alley!
Have you ever been to a Monster Truck show like Monster Jam?

No, I haven't. But I think I'd actually enjoy it if I went to one.
For some reason, my kids don't like anything really loud. And I would imagine that a monster jam with its trucks would be loud, so I don't think they'll enjoy that. And since the only reason I go for any activity is for my kids, I wouldn't have any chance to go to any.
Too bad for me.

I actually have a picture of my son and his friend there.. and you can see in the picture the boys are wearing ear plugs to block out some of the noise. So if you choose to go.. you can just get them ear plugs.
Here's the picture... my son is the one with his fingers on his face. If you look close you can see he has orange ear plugs. The happy boy next to him is his friend who has yellow ear plugs.

The tickets for Monster Jam are more than I'm willing to pay so that is something that we've never been to. However, we have a lot of county fairs during the early summer that are pretty convenient for us to get to and they have demolition derbies and tractor pulls and things like that and I have to admit that I've always had a good time with that. Most of all though, I really like to take a weekend during the summer and go out to Clay City for the drag races. We took the kids for the first time last year and they had a blast with it as well.

We went to one of those a couple summers ago.. a drag race and demolition derby. It was fun, we all liked it. And it was much smaller so we had a great view.

I have been to one, and I am not sure why, other than the fact that anything that has a motor and wheels is right up my husband's alley. I know we took a kid, now whether it was my great niece or my son's step son, I do not remember. See how much it impressed me?

LOL. It would have the same impression on me.. but my boys (including hubby) would love it. Maybe next year I'll plan on sending them.

When I was a kid my uncle took my cousins and me to a festival where we play, eating foods and have a lot of fun. My uncle don't really like to be in crowd place especially with 3 kids around to have an eye on, but he did took us there cos he had promised us for that. There is no Monster Truck at the festival but we enter a "hounted house" and my little cousin made big screamed that my uncle had to turn back to the exit door earlier and leave me and my other cousin finish the trip.

We went to a monster jam in las vegas usa once. We had alot of fun there. My son miguel is a big fan.
