Is it in the kiss?

There is a famous American song that says "if you want to know if he loves you so, its in his kiss." Growing up, I was told that you can tell how a new relationship is going by the emotion someone gives to a kiss (especially check to see if she closes her eyes during the kiss, I was told). Like in the song "You've lost that loving feeling" starts with "you never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips" Well, what do you think... is 'it' (emotion of love) in the kiss?

I do think you could feel emotion in a kiss, and how somone touches you when you two kiss :).

First kiss should make an impact but it doesn't follow that a good kiss determines the strength of love of one to another or vice versa. But a good kisser should be the one who could see you in the eyes without looking at you.:)

Thinking about it now, I do think that one can determine the depth of one's affection through a kiss. There are passionate kissers and there are kissers that would almost tear your lips out! Yeah, it is in the kiss and how you react to that kiss.

I don't know. Maybe it's in the kiss or maybe it's not. There are people who are showy about their feelings but some are not. So, it really depends (at least for me) how much a couple understand each other.

well it is true sometimes, and sometimes it is not. but as for as pscycologists say that the five major sense organs are eye, ears, nose as in smell, and the sense of touch . when your smelling a flower you tend to close your eyes, it almost happens as a reflex because you tend to concentrate more on one sense kind of blinding the rest. so the same thing happens with the kiss if you enjoy this immensly enjoy it, yes, you will close your eyes. but it is not completely reliable though, you can call it a symptom. have a good day...!!

I think it is not possible to determine how good the relationship will be basing only on how your partner will kiss you. A kiss is just a superficial expression of love and affection among partners. It is not the barometer to check if your partner will be good to you or not, will your relation with him or her will last. It is just a wrong notion, a figurative phrase from a famous song and has no true basis for it. A gigolo for example can be the best kisser in the world but when he has attained what he wants from you then expect some hurt and goodbyes. A relationship is measure on trust, respect, love, and compassion. It takes a long period of time to really know a person well whom you love most, and its is not just because he or she is a good kisser.

At some point maybe, but its not really the whole package to determine if he/she truly loves you. You have to know him/her personally, actions speak louder than any words and just a kiss is simply not enough actions.

I don't think that is all true. It's not based on the kiss, but how you show your compassion and importance to a particular person. Now that is pure love, which somehow will reflect when you kiss him or her. But you can't actually tell for real if the one your kissing really loves you. What if he or she is just a great kisser?

It's depend on the person I think. It's only a song and not everyone has the same feeling or opinion about that. I'm not agree with that song. You can't say that someone don't love you anymore just because she open her/his eyes while kissing

It is true sometime if not all the times you feel the true emotion in a simple kiss.
