hi to all
well, this discussion is kind of poll type, but I don't think so, I believe mylotters are my friends so I want to solve my confusion by mylot friends, OK friends I have a choice to buy both Laptop & Mobile Phone, remember I'm not a Mobile Guy I have Nokia 6230i Mobile, its very outdated & old set but I use it for texting & receiving calls, I'm more interested into Laptops, but my friends tells me that now a days peoples see your mobile style & Smart Phones, also girls likes smart guys with smart phones & laptop is nothing to do with smartness, I'm confused now, can you helps me??? Can I buy a laptop or mobile??? have a nice day...

Haha! You make me laugh dude! Okay, here's what I think. First, you have to consider the USE. If you think your goal is to impress girls then it might be better for you to consider you friends' advises. But if you think it's for business or something else then you might wanna try other options. The second thing to consider is the price. Try to think and think then decide, don't be swayed away by other people's opinion, it's still you who is to decide at the end.

It depends on why you buying it. If all you want to do is impress the girls, buy the mobile or better yet a smart phone. Perhaps instead of a laptop you should consider a tablet.

I would think that the main thing that you need to think about when you are making this decision is that you should figure out which one of the two is more important to you, or that you feel like you need more than the other. If you are more interested in computers and the phone that you have is still functioning well, then I would say to go with the laptop. However if you feel like your phone will not last for very much longer then I would say to go with the phone.

Well, its all up to you. If you having more works related to computer then you should surely go for computer instead of phone. But if you are not having more use and you just want to buy one for entertainment then surely you can go for android or other smart phone instead of computer. Surely you can do all those entertainment stuffs like music, videos, movies and camera with new smart phone. So its all up to you. And if you have choice and if you can then you can choose both of them.

Girls like guys with smart phones?...do we? Wow, this is news to me. I'm a woman and I have never heard that crap before nor known any girl / women who has said anything like that before.
Put other people's advice to the side for a second and really think about what is more useful to you. Write a list if yo have to about the pros and cons of each item.
Personally, I would get the laptop because if you already have a phone, then don't get another one that can pretty much do the exact same thing just to look cool or sexy..( still don't believe that ).

Even I have a smartphone and I could write my articles in it but nothing compares to doing some other online stuff using a laptop. So I would recommend a laptop. It enables you to do more.

I am looking for a tablet that can be used as a laptop is needed, and also serve the function of a mobile phone. In addition, it should be good enough as a television programs receiver. I am told such a product is there...but I am not sure what it is called. So I came here hoping somebody would have suggested it. There are tablets that can be disconnected from laptop and taken around. Whether you can use them like telephones to call people or not, is something I dont know. :) Hope you find what you are looking for. :)

I go laptop!!! haha! you can bring it anywhere as long as there's wifi available and you can save documents, type, edit, net browsing and a lot more unlike with smartphones there's limited functions to work on since you mention that you use your mobile for texting and calling only. Laptop will be much comfortable to save files also and to bring anywhere. I hope i did help you out to decide

I don't see how girls enter into the discussion. Your intelligence has nothing to do with having a smart phone or a laptop. It seems to me that you really want a laptop, so I think you should buy that.

I go for the laptop. It's more beneficial than a phone I think. You can do paperworks and a lot of things there, not with a phone. By the way, I like your phone hah, Nokia 6230i, old model too but still helpful. Just like me, I'm using Nokia C1.

If you're not into fancy mobile phones and is contented with the one you're using, buy a laptop instead. Buying a phone just because girls likes guys who has smartphones. And owning a smartphone won't make you smarter either. Buy a laptop instead because you said you're more inclined to it than mobile phones. Plus, laptops are more functional and useful than cellphones.

Laptop is a must. On fact you should have both. At home I use my laptop a lot. When I am on the go, I rely on the use of a smart phone to write reports, etc and send files via email.

I prefer laptop more than phone. so go for laptop. you can do alot with laptop but not that much easy as laptop work with mobile.

Hmm... the question first: Do you want to by a new mobile phone because your friends say so or because its the new trend? If you need to buy laptop so it's useful, go for it. But there is some advantage when you buy phones that have a lot of applications. I'm not very updated with the new gadgets but I usually balance the consequences before buying them. If you want something that is convenient, you could try Smart phone. It has all the application you need so far (try to search on the internet).
I can only advise that if you don't like to spend buying a cellphone and laptop why not try buying a gadget that can do both.

i will say go for the PC a laptop infact i hasve HP corei3 with me and it would be the best if you go to have a pc . But if you already have 1 then go for the smart phone like samsung grand or note or samsung S3 ot the HTC best buy,
