Hi, I notice that, chubby person is more bullied than the thin one. Did you notice it too? Why is it like that? I think it's unfair. They always compare the chubby/fat person to a pig. So sorry for those who are chubby here.

Hi, You are right. A fat person is more teased by the people. They are very fond of eating and so they are very fat so they look strange while running, walking, etc. but I think it is not fair. Teasing for anyone's look is very bad thing. My son was very thin in school and college days. He was teased by the boys in the school and college. But fat people are bullied more than the thin people. It's true.

I believe it's more about the culture of the particular country than the body of the person. If culture reenforces thinness, naturally a fat person will be teased and bullied. Though, even if it hurts, the person should ignore the comments and even respond in sarcastic tone, thus proving that they aren't ashamed(not being afraid of the bully).

I wouldn't know about that because I've been on both sides of the fence and got bullied way more while being skinny. Actually while in the chubby time of my life , no one said one word to me. Well, perhaps that is because you have to be a little more sensitive toward over weight people, while its perfectly acceptable to put a thin person down to their face. Well, that is how it is where I live. Seems that if you are not 200 lbs over weight, you are considered anorexic.

i could say yes that most of the people who usually get bullied are those chubby type of body unlike to the thin one,but there are times that thin also get bullied but those who are really super thin, maybe chubby people are most eye catching so they are the most get bullied.

Yes, unfortunately in here too, in my country, chubby or fat people get chance to being bullied more often than the thin one.

This is disgusting. There is a new thing out there with this 'fat shaming'. sad and cruel. I am really getting tired of overweight people being bullied. For some reason there is a war against them. I prefer a good and kind person, than a perfectly trim and fit snot.

I was bullied when I was a child, and I was thin. I was just backward and shy. Now I'm chubby, Lol.

Ouch! Just joking! hahaha But that is just how it goes. People are just into teasing chubby people all the time, coz really I think they think that it is cute but manage to make a sarcasm out of it.

Yes,chubby people are bullied more because we still have freaks in the world who believe that a walking skeleton represents beauty. No one teaches kids in the school what a healthy body looks like.A healthy body of a human being looks different from what we see on TV screen and magazines.

Bullying can happen to either chubby, thin or neither chubby nor thin person. It can happen to anyone who is considered 'different' regardless of weight. And it is never right to let bullying happen to anyone.

I am not fat,yet I was bullied many times when I was in middle school.Do you know, why?Actually I was very shy.You may say,as shy as girls, and a thin, physically weak boy.It was therefore that I was a sitting duck, easy target for the bullies in my class.Gradually as I grew up,I began feeling hurt and humiliated. So I joined a gym and became strong and healthy in a matter of months.Thereafter they could never summon courage to bully me.

Definitely unfair. Society has its way of pressuring all of us to look perfect -- including being thin. If you noticed, hollywood personalities are the skinniest people you'll ever see, which the younger generation usually look up to. That's what they see on TV these days and they want to be like them as well. That's their concept of beauty. They make fun of chubby people because they are different among others.

I never get that. Being chubby is a great thing that means you are eating. Why would someone want to be thin? I guess its another American thing I will never understand.
