Why are the Khardashians more well known than our political leaders?

Why are we so flooded with celebrity and so poverty stricken in knowing the leaders of our world? Any thoughts?

Because loads of people are just ignorant and uneducated... and like to watch and talk about stuff which have nothing to actually brainstorm about or use their brains to understand. It always requires less effort to watch and talk-about some untalented people making drama out of nothing than paying attention to speeches and news about politicians.

hi valentinesdiner I think its because Americans are celebrity crazy and media junkies as if they hear on the tv then they have to read it in the celeb magazines too. I swear we are nuts but I do not go for that stuff at all.I thing the Khardashians are trashy myself and could care less about them and what they do or do not do. We should know about our world leaders though.
