red onion - items was scarce and expensive

backward a few days in our country's very sad event occurred in my opinion. How could I not? We as a country should feel short of Agriculture to the main kitchen ingredient garlic-onions. Yesterday, onion and garlic soar and all the trouble because it is a basic ingredient dishes. Who do you think is wrong in this?

i think it`s cartel games.. they know that garlic and onions are main ingredients for our people.. the government must react faster... don`t make any people become suffer

i read recently in facebook that the farmer only sell about Rp. 2.000/3.000 per kg how come the price Rp.50.000 in customer

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i find turmoil in most of the countries and i am saddened that Indonesia has joined this bandwagon. I think whenever prices any general commodity increases, then the common man is the first one to get affected. I hope the Govt of this country regulates the prices very soon. What say?

yes I think the Indonesia not expect foreign imports so that any problems occur Indonesia certainly have an impact felt by the community. I think this is the government's job to fix it, the Government should be not too hopeful of commodity imports, they should be able to develop the commodity in the country because it is a lot more benefits. I heard the news, now the price of onions has been gradually fall.

uh... it is pathetic that the power people deal with this game they tought that they will gain benefit by doing this just wait and see if the condition is still going like this there will be demonstration
