Have You Use Argan Oil?

I was reading a British newspaper yesterday online and in the beauty section, Argan oil was recommended as a relativley inexpensive product to help diminish facial lines and signs of sun damage and also for hair and nails. So I looked in the mirror at my skin, which is not too bad for my age since I have used sun block on it for many years but then - who doesn't want to have better skin? Without missing a beat, I extracted my plastic friend (my name for my credit card) and was about to use it but thought to ask you first. So have any mylotters used this product or has heard good things about this product? Or do you possess some secret formula you use to diminish facial lines? Okay I'll admit it. Help is needed!

Many thanks. I will see if this is available to buy out here or online. Anytime I'm depressed I feel the need to spend

That facial masque has lots of rave reviews but I haven't yet found out if they ship overseas and what the price is. Looks great though. Many thanks

It was about $69 last time I bought it, not sure about the overseas shipping... If they don't, I suppose you could send it to me, and I could send it to you.

Argan oil is sold on HSN and the gal selling it swears by it. The gal is also very beautiful. You should check it out on there. They have customer satisfaction write ups and that would give you some opinions on it.

Hi Cynthiann Wow I have been reading all the responses of this product, I have heard about Argan Oil but it was for hair I like the sounds of this product it sounds great however I have to be careful I have very oily skin and I make a mixture of egg yolk with oatmeal and I cannot say enough how this makes my skin feel.

In my youth I used to make a masl out of oatmeal and egg white. You have jogged a memory. Also I would crush up an avocado and apply this too. I really habve to do something to improve the texture of my skin.

I think that the egg white was to tghten the pores. But I bhonestly haven't done this in 20 plus years. The avocado pear was good. I would use the ones that fell ff the trees as they were over ripe

Hi Cynthiann Oh please do not use egg white (it actually dries the skin) I like the idea of avocado, for me when I was younger I used a whole egg but I found out when I was googling for some skin care recipes, they said never use egg white it actually dries the skin and I know as we age this is not what we want to do.

Hi Cynthiann You will laugh at this, I always think about discussions at the end of the day in the hopes that I gave the best answer I could of. Well lo and behold this morning as I am getting ready to feed my two dogs the lightbulb went off and I forgot to tell you about "honey" oh does this work. Honestly when I tried this I could not believe how "soft" my skin was after this. Yes it is messy but wow give that a try and see.

I remember reading soemwhere that honey has anti bacterial and healing qualities. I had planned to go into bee keeping commercially - amd may still do it. Thank you for this.Honey is the only 'food' that never goes bad. It may sleep but does not go bad. Found beside Eyptian Mummies I think

I forgot to tell you leave honey on 30 to 40 minutes and please do not try and go outside if it is "Bee season" lol

hi cynthiann I have never heard of that Argan oil but wonder if it really does work. I have some deep wrinkles on my face that make me look like I am unhappy and people are always asking me "Are you okay?" which is sort of embarrassing as I am fine. Oh right now I have the flu but other than that I am always fine.Even at my age I would like to soften those wrinkles if possible.

I know what you mean. No matter what our age is we want to look the best we can. It is a woman thing. I do hope that you recover soon from the flu. That can really drag you down. Get well soon

Never heard of the stuff. Argan oil? My skin isn't in too bad of shape except for some dryness and some particular points are sagging and well, a few lines too. But, hay, I'm almost 69 and am at the point to where I don't care whether people are happy with my looks or not. I quit wearing make-up years ago. Now what people see is what they get. My face and skin isn't bothering me so that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I sell Avon and our company has recently added Argan oil to several products. SO far those who have purchased the products all have good things to say about them and all but one has reordered the products purchased. The other lost her job and hasn't ordered anything for that very reason. I haven't used them personally as I wanted to use up what I already have on hand for muself..lol

I like many Avon products s if they are adding it then it must be good. I would use up what I had too before trying something else

I have to admit that the only product that I use on my face and the only product that I've ever used on my face since I was younger is just sun screen. Then when it comes to washing my face I will only use clean water to wash my face. I feel like my skin is actually in pretty good shape and the regime that I am using is one that is really inexpensive and effective. Sorry I couldn't give you any feedback on the product that you are asking about here.

I have used this product and it does work well to soften my hair and skin...as do many oils. If it is widely available near you, I would try it out. I prefer coconut oil since it is a little cheaper and easier for me to find on its own. I like to spread some coconut oil on my face, soak a washcloth in hot water, put it on my face for one minute, then wash off the oil with the cloth. The heat helps my skin absorb more of the moisture and gives me a fresh feeling.

Oh, now I have hundreds of coconuts growing of the farms. We used to employ a lady who would grate them and then boil the meat in water to make the oil. The oil would come to the surface. I can easily use cold pressed coconut oil. Many people use it on theor hair bit I do not like the small. They would also use it as a moisturizer so, they know more than me. I really hate the smell but I cojuld try it on my face. Thank you for this tip
