Hi! I am not fond of coloring books anymore since I think they are for children. But yes, when i think about it, it does help in relaxing ones mind. keep it up. That is a very inique way of relaxing there. Enjoy coloring and happy mylotting :)

I'm a young adult and I still love to color! It is a stress reliever, relieves anxiety, calms you, relaxing, clears your mind, enhances creativity, etc.
I got my spouse to color too after working. He becomes calmer and more relaxed afterwards.
I buy coloring books at the dollar store. They have lots there.
I still have lots of crayons at home that's been collected since I've been in school, so don't need to buy anymore crayons lol.

Hello, Penguinsangel.
I love to color in coloring books. It relaxes me too. Sometimes I have a little fun with it and try to use highlights and shading like I have learned in art classes. I think I might pull out one of my son's coloring books tonight. I have been a little stressed lately.

I like to color in coloring books. I like to pick out just the right color crayon to "paint" a masterpiece. Makes me feel like a kid again.
I also like to use different colored permanent markers on posters. There is a bigger variety of colors there than just the usual 5 or 6 markers that come with the poster. My favorite posters are the ones that have the black "velvet" on them. The black makes a nice contrast for the colored markers that are used.

Hi. Penguinsangel. Yes, I do love to color in coloring books.
I love doodling too. I try to find the time to color when I am helping my kids with any coloring pages that they have for homework. It is very fun when I color too!
I love writing on coloring posters with magic markers and ink. I am a grown up and I still enjoy this activity! It never gets too old for me!

Absolutely! My mother and I color together at times. It's an inexpensive, fun way to recapture one's youth. There's nothing wrong with being "child-like" at *any* age!

I actually do like to color sometimes. I haven't colored in a while, probably over a year. Some time ago I found a coloring book I had from about 10 years ago and I was watching TV and coloring and I was enjoying it. It felt odd considering that I was a teen, but it was really quite enjoyable.
It is funny how there are some activities that seem to be exclusively for children, but adults can enjoy it just as much.

I do. I keep crayon and coloring books here for when my niece (she's 9) comes to visit. I also have an 8 month old and I can't wait until he's old enough to color with us.

I love to color! I haven't had much time to do it lately (6 kids keep you hopping!), but now that the baby is almost 2 and getting to the coloring stage himself, I may be able to color again myself!
