I just realized that an intagrammer could actually buy followers just to have thousands of them. Well, to each his/ her own, but for me I'll just wait for people to follow me. I share photos of things that I like, and it's up for people to like them or not, follow or unfollow. Anyways, I have my friends there to follow me, maybe few, but true. Good day mylotters!

It is not just the Instagram. They buy friends and followers on FB too. Since, I am not on Instagram, I was wondering if the site is similar with twitter/flicker or something..

Hi djoyce! Buy followers? What's the point? To make them look like very popular. My goodness, those buyers don't realize that they are fooling themselves! I am not really fond of following people on instagram neither do I ask people to follow me. I also don't have much time posting photos on instagram. Maybe I am too busy or should I say, too old for that.

Hello maam. Yes, I think so. Maybe they want to have that impression. Well, as I have said, to each his own. I'm into instagram because there are a lot great photographers there with their great nature photos. Stay young at heart maam, and good day.

Haven't heard it before, but why they buy for followers? what is the use of followers in Instagram? I really wonder about this. I agree with you, me too i just wait for someone who will follow me than to buy followers. Buying followers is like your buying that person to follow you, what a big joke.

Maybe they have their own reason for buying followers, I just don't know. But, yes, it's kind of a big joke. Thanks jonastabuena for responding.

Wow. It's pretty stupid, I think. Instagram hasn't become such a popular platform for getting profit like Twitter or Facebook... in the case of those two sites, I understand buying like, althtough I really don't like this behaviour, because I think it's unethical.

It depends on the person. They might be a starting entrepreneur attempting to get his product seen.
