Is money every everything in life?

I am 35 years now and i have seen many people behavior in my life. People give important money and give respect those people who are rich enough. After my father's death our blood relative didn't want to meet us because of our financial crises. Even my friends behavior changed. Why people think that money is everything?
Is there no any value of a person? We are going to bad enough in our ethical sides. Money has importance but not everything we should promote our social values in our life. Why people think that money is everything?

I think its because money is a visual thing. Like "hey there goes a guy in a BMW he must be successful. Or "that guys has a big house and always has people over and pays for everything, he must be so rich"
So you see its what you see visually.
Kinda like when you see a girl you attracted to her visually.
A bit shallow but yes.

For sure, money is not everything but we know how important it is to our life. We cannot live without it. These people who no longer want to meet you because of your financial problems are maybe having their own money problems. They should not be afraid to tell the truth and to let you know that they too are in the same boat.

Money should not matter when it comes to being a friend with someone as long as you are a hard working person and are not using others because they have money. rich or poor. Money or no money people should like you because you are a good person.

I want to believe that not everybody is like that and has those values. I have friends that have helped me during difficult times. My family is also very helpful. But friendship and family ties are something that we must work on when life is only happiness. At least, that`s what my husband taught me and he was a wise man.

Valuing relationships is foreign to people like this, because its something they can't put an actual monetary value on. I especially hate working for bosses who don't understand that I work to support my family, not to make them rich.

People will let money control the every part of their life they won't do anything with out money, these kind of people need help bad, when I am broke I am happy but I know how to get online, and earn money and I don't let money, over take my life like I don't need to have friends.

People think that money is everything because it does so much for us in our day to day lives. Money allows us to live comfortably and for us to live more free. Although there are people that have a lot of money that do not do anything positive with it; or worse, hurt other people with it, it is not the money that is the problem. People come before money, but money is not bad.

Man¥ people think money can buy happiness. Usually, it only buys the appearance of happiness. It depends on what one does with their mobey. I'll take ethics over money any day.

No, money is not everything in life but money is important in many ways. There is a proverb saying that money does not bring happiness. It's true but it depends on what is the real source of happiness. If you are happy because you have love and health in your life, you might not need too much money to live without worries. But if you don't have these, they must be compensated with money. I mean money to buy things to compensate the lack of love in your life or money to take care of your health. These are only some examples.

Remember most so called blood relatives are selfish, they are after money, if you feed them, give gifts in various occasions you are good or else bad.

if a rich man with a bad behavior, i never take my glance on him. Money is nothing if he is a bad guy.
Some guys just think that people should admire to them when they have much money, but they don't know that much money with a short head is just ignored, not worth.

For me, money is not my everything.I still choose and cherish my loved ones rather than money. I always believe in the saying that "money is the root of all evil" and I just use money to live but not to ruin the harmony and love with my loved ones and friends.

Money should not take over anyones life and matter that much. It should not matter if you are rich or poor. It should matter what kind of a person that you are. A bad person that does bad things could be rich or poor. so to me a person should be liked or dislikes depending on how they act to wards others and how they treat others that are in their lives.

i don't think that money is everything but it can make our lives easier and more convenient. judging other people by what material things they have is not right. we cannot even be sure if the wealth was accumulated thru legal and honest work. don't mind people who think less of you because you are not rich. good friends and relatives will always stay with you even during hard times. those who were gone were never good friends/relatives in the beginning so don't think about them anymore.

If there is something i learned too and that is people change, when they were able to acquire money and experience a different lifestyle they do change..and unfortunately some doesn't know when to go back and help others. but there are some who do help too.

Yor are right. In this tiem money is everything. You have money all are your friends and your relative.But you don't have money all are not your friends. I saw in my life also because i also gone this time.

Actually when you look at it why a lot of people are more on money is because of poverty. The tendency of the people is to appreciate those who has a lot money because they do not have that.. People without money can easily be attracted to those rich.

It so sad that we live in such a material world, but I don't think that money is everything in life. I belive that there are many good people who don't care if you are rich or poor the only thing that matters is if you are good person or not The sad thing is that money bring the worse in people sometimes I think that is what happend to your relative.

So sad to have a relatives like them, the bible say's that money is the root of all evil? it is the love of money some people they are not satisfied or happy for not having a money. Money ofcourse is important to us, but make sure that relationship with your family and friends is one of our priority in life.

I attribute people's love for money as ignorance and primitiveness. For all I know, money is only a necessity of life and not a compulsory aspect of life. It is normal to often see people who value the rich far much more than the poor but I simply see it as immaturity. Even if people desert you because of your financial crisis, God will not leave you and it does not change your personality. You will one day get back on track.
