What values in life more for you - people or money. Of course most will say people and then they say too money is important in life too. But what is more important is value. What all those script like Bible, Gita, Koran and many other teaches us is that we should give our values more preference than any other thing. But still people read them and ignore them. Only those who follow them gain heights even after they face difficulties in life. So does education gave us those values that we get educated and become more aware of our life. What I consider is a Big NO. If education in schools and collages gave us is depression and a life full of misery. A life where we give more imporatance to money than life. What you consider of greatest crime of all time, is that education our youngs that money value more and they should look more on how to make money more in life than what is important is live a long healthy, helping, and happy life. The 3H's isn't that what all we want in life. Yes it is, we need help, and that is comming only when we give some help. Someone need help and we share our help, then they learn from us and give our knowledge to someone else. We need health, yes giving help is related to health as we keep ourself busy and ignore those unwanted things like for lust which most people desire of and also a cause of great misery of health. We need to happy always, yes that possible when our mind is free from frutis of life. If we avoid feelings that like If I help someone then I need to get help from that person. Yes that feeling is impossible to get out, but true wisdom is much difficult to get than what most people think of. If you give more than you take you will find you are more welcoming human than any other in this world.

Education has made us clever and smarter and more complicated but has failed to make us intelligent, simple and honest.

I agree with you. It taught us to look for holes and go behind almost everything just to suit our desires. But as to most important values, I can really say that it diverts us from those things.

I paid for an education that taught me the value of life in all forms. It did not guarantee me money or riches, only knowledge and the possibility of finding a job in a related field. I may never find that job, but my take away from several years earning a degree is invaluable to me. I suppose it depends on what one is studying, but school alone does not teach us to be greedy. Society and media does that. And, dear, that's free.

Yes you both are right, and school don't teach us to earn money. by thy itself we learn from school to be good and challanging. What we think is that school is some abstact and is pure, but don't you consider it a society too. Well you don't find it on books written in bold that you need to earn more and satisfy your desires. But what work hard means hear, is work hard means for self or for people. What I can see most people work for thyself and forget about others. They forget that some people can't educate themselves and those educated people forget about them. Like me I mostly think of myself and think of having more money, that's why I, You we all are here typing some extra letter and being members of such sites like mylot. So do you think that we don't learn from schools, Schools are society too, they are not abstarct or pure.

We cannot really say that education is irrelevant in most of our doings here. However, the education system nowadays are molding people in specific things as if they are programmed to do a particular and repeated task throughout their lifetime. The act of self reflection and being aware of more essential values in life have already deteriorated. Its more about earning, luxury and of course, self-preservation.

It is more correct that education has made our life more luxrious. It helps earn more money, and we come to know more ways to throw our money in tasteless things that are damaging the life of many.

You really have point here. The thing is most people value nowadays is to have more money to keep their lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes and others for survival. Some have forgotten the real meaning of lives. Some people didn't even enjoy their foods because of thinking of the expenses. People nowadays have really change. We have to contemplate more on the things that are eternal rather than temporal. Because of this education is becoming less of value too or what you have said cheaper... We should grasp the purposes God intended for us to achieve the fullness of life. There is more to life than money, works, and desires. Have a Blessed Holy Week!

what you say is correct and I am with you. People have left feelings and they need awakning. May be that include me too as I am also filled with need of desires that won't complete now today or tommorow. I need to stand tall and face them with great challage. Yes it is a challange and I need to stand and face it. Rest must follow what they feel is good as they can't be controlled but by thy self.

Yes you are right. That is why I am thankful that my parents are not more after with the money. Though money is our medium to sustain our needs but sometimes because of money people forget what is the true value of life. But then, education is a necessity for us not be ignorant. Parents are the molders the youngsters so they should always there to guide them, to guide us. Also, some instructors teach good values to students but students nowadays are stubborn and hard-headed. I think it will still depend on a person's personality and character. On how he was mold by the family and society he belongs. If your family is more on money then you will also perceive that money is the best thing in the world.

For the most part you are correct and stand up with you for what you said. It is our selection from the experices from our life that picksup our personality. But that hard headed personality don't get together by itself, it need to be picked up from somewhere, and that somewhere is our surrounding. We pick up things that are mostly bad and they are easy to pick up too, isn't it. Yes it is. And we ignore most what we think is correct but don't want to apply in life because it is difficult to implement. Well people say nothing is impossible but still for most part, it remains impossible and people mostly die in vain trying to make it possible and then finally submitting in pardon to God that they failed and they make excuse that they did tried but failed. But why failed, because there is no real motive to apply in life and it make life more of dull when they are in hell rather feeling what it would be like in heaven.

Yes you are right, but I consider your comment a bit pessimistic. But to tell the truth universities really teach only things rotated about money topic. They teach often physical things and corruptible ones. But we should not misuse scince, since science often helps us to deeper understand the Creator. Often the greatest scientists a believers, often not. But we need to have balance in all.

If we try to maitain a balance in all we can't be those Creators, rather we would be consumers and destroyers. To be creators we need to understand what is it, rather just balacing it try using it.

Education - LEARN contains the word EARN
Education is very important to both your personal and professional life, in a number of significant ways!Depending on the level of success you’re seeking to achieve, the level of education may be relative. English and language skills will help you to communicate your ideas more clearly. Communication skills are essential in any role – whether you’re dealing with co-workers, patients, customers, or supervisors, you will need to effectively convey your plans, ideas, goals, and such.Although calculators and computers are readily accessible, you still need to learn how to do basic computations and calculations on paper or in your head. If you are calculating dosages, counting surgical supplies, or tallying sales, math skills are imperative for a career, and for life. Cooking, shopping, driving, and many other everyday activities require math skills as well, regardless of your career choice.the word LEARN contains the word EARN? Perhaps that is because the higher level of education you achieve, the higher level of income you are likely to command as well.

I think it depends on the person on how he handle life and the things he possess. If we give more importance to money we tend to become more greedy and forget the value of life. But poverty is the cause of all crimes, in order to survive many people tend to do bad things for the sake of money in order for him to survive including his family. Education give us knowledge and help up to find works, and teach us good value. Its hard to find a good job when you don't have a good back ground or not even finished high school or college. The reason why people go to school is to have a good future for him and for his family. As a human we are not perfect, sometimes we are not contented for what we have, we want more to the extent that we can't notice that we are getting bad. We should put and use things in balance, Money and Education should be use in a balance way in order not hurt other people. Its always the person who always chooses what he want and what he want to do. We have brain to use to identify what is good and bad. Its up to us to decide.

Virtue and wisdom can not be assured merely through education. Education is a tool to civilize the society. When education helps an individual to manifest his or her self, then it fulfills its purpose. Education system is like molding. If not all, it can seed similar thinking patterns to majority of the society. The process of education must be continuous. Any way education has helped human kind.

I actually like that I am aware of what surrounds me. Sure, today's society has brought different kinds of problems, but I don't think earlier ages were better problemwise. But that I like to learn about things like this doesn't mean that I'm a money-obsessed person. It depends on the person how they live life through. I treasure my family and my boyfriend and social relations more than I do with money, and I was depressed for totally different reasons than being overwhelmed by knowledge or money, when I used to be. And also, I don't read religious scripts, becaise I'm not religious - but it doesn'gt mean that I'm not following any of their teachings...

well, example of study and education is like a tree, how much will have more fruits, branch of tree will be heavy and come dawn. a person who really has true education how much will be more sophisticated will become more simple in character and more loving one, and respectful one in that point. I mean will be so understanding and will have a heart full of love and humanity. but the one, who more education make her or him more proud and selfish, will lose every respect finally in his or her life.
