I wouldn't go tanning in the first place but that's because I don't really like how people's skin looks with fake looking tans. I think we should enjoy the way that our skin naturally looks. I definitely wouldn't keep paying sixty bucks a month though to break out in hives. I can only imagine that your skin probably doesn't look that good when it's all broken out in hives.

the tan dont look fake at all it looks like i got it from the sun , once the hives go away it looks really good , i cant really avoid the hives because in the summer i get them when i go outside because i am allergic to the sun and heat they only last a few days then they are gone and it looks good i am tanning for when we go on vacation so i dont burn again

If melanoma doesn't scare you, why should hives?

I have never been tanning and I would never ever go. You could not pay me to go tanning! First off it does make people look VERY fake. Second there have been studies done that tanning beds can cause skin cancer. No thank you! There is enough chance of cancer in every day life, habits I cannot break as it is I will not bring more of a chance in my life by going tanning on top of it.

Are you sure you break out in hives because of the tanning? Or is it because your immune system is low at that moment? If I would be sure for 100% I would not go for tanning anymore and inform if I can get my money back (or a part of it). I don't think anyone will refuse that. I do have a lot of skin diseases, infections plus low immune system so it all pops up always unexpected. I am tanning (at home) because in the hospital takes me too much energy (going over there, waiting etc etc..). I am not sure it always works, also it takes me "courage" many time (I really need to force myself) to do it. I doubt many times if it does work since I can't say I always feel better if I did it. I try to keep going on with it at least for some minutes. But if I really feel sick I just can't.

I think its funny, that in where i am from (Indonesia), all girls wants to be light and pale. The lightning skin cosmetics are so popular here! Haha!

Well, I'm not tanning at all, artificially. I kind of believe it's unhealthy, and I'm not too fond of the tan look. I sunbathe sometimes in the summer, but I don't do that that much, either. I kind of like my paler look. As for your instance, I would not go tanning anymore, and I would try to protect myself from the sun as much as possible (wearing sunhats, tees or coverups when I'm not swimming etc.). It's bad that you paid in advance, but in this case, I wouléd let go of that money, because health is really important.

I am already tan. But for your situation, I would recommend for you not to do it, hmm because it will look fake, and it cozy. And the risk you are getting as you already said. If you go under the sun always choose the best time, because the higher the sun the higher of getting the skin cancer. Just love yourself. I am tan and when i get under the sun I get so dark and I hate it and I tried a lot of whitening products and it just didn't work and its a waste of money so I just learn to love myself. xx
