Time For A Disappearing Act....

March 28, 2013 4:31pm CST
Evenin' Never being one to miss an opportunity to post a pointless discussion... This is my last night online for a few weeks - I have to be all professional and work a few weeks with the normal folk on days. I have to be polite, shave daily and possible smile at people I don't like. They even expect me to wear a tie... That is not going to happen. So - I will post a few discussions tonight to possible make the blood boil - hehehehe. See you in a few weeks...

It is not summer in Kansas yet, so my blood is not going to boil. I am going to have to get offline and actually work a while this evening myself. Then I will also "tend to my knitten" which is actually crochet. Go play with all the normal folk and be nice. See you on the flip flop.

What do you do for work? I had a stupid job once that required me to wear a tie. I'm female and the uniform alone was just, well, not me but the tie was a bit much. We would get written up if one of the higher-ups came in and we were not wearing it. Well, I used my tie in my hair...needless to say I got written up. They did NOT specify that it had to be on my shirt!!

Got ya. I used to work in an office...insurance...the meetings, the politics etc. Loved the job itself but honestly...don't miss that aspect of it all.

I work in security, I do like the job and I like working the sites and jobs. However every now and again they get me to return to do office work and attend meetings. I prefer the ordinary work to be honest

Good luck dude. I know how hard it is for me to be a phony. I an not wired like that. I have this uncontrollable urge to be honest and blunt and up front. And as for wearing a tie, I was supposed to when I was working, but I never did. So I don't think that will be an issue here. But talking and smiling to people you don't like will be a challenge.
