I Stumble A Bit When Wearing High Heels..

I have 2 pairs of high heeled shoes and I can walk in them easily. But I have these pair of high heeled boots but I start to fall a little bit after walking in them for about 10 minutes. I have tried on different high heeled shoes when I go to shoe stores and I'm not all into high heels but if I am going to go somewhere really nice, I would like to try and dress nice.
My question is, if I practiced and practiced walking in them, will I eventually get to the point where I won't stumble around in them? I have seen women run in them which shocks me!
Happy MyLotting.

Hello Deepak!
I have never heard anyone say this before but I just have to say that you are wrong. :/ Why would you associate girls wearing high heels to be bad? Girls / women wear them to look good. It would be like saying all guys who wear suits are bad men. It sounds crazy lol
Thank you very much for answering. :)

Well trust me. You shouldn't judge girls like that really quick just cause they wear high heels. I like to wear them sometimes so that means you pretty much have me down as a bad girl straight away without even knowing me. :P

I'd assume your question was "why do you use them if you're nervous to wear them?"
Because they make me look so good. :)

Hello gadingprakoso13!
Well pretty much what Nursefrai said. They look good. I wouldn't wear them all the time but would be nice to wear them in a social situation instead of the same old boring shoes I always wear.
Thank you so very much for answering. :)

Hello silverfox!
Aww how sweet. I don't remember if I ever wore my mums high heels when I was a child. I remember I had these pair of toy plastic high heels. Of course not a huge high heel but they were fun to walk around in sometimes.

If you can walk in the high heels you have, you're going to learn into wearing these high heeled boots, too. I had to learn a lot to be able to wear high heels... but I kind of stopped wearing them, so it started from zero, and my feet hurt as hell... so I would have to start again, but I don't feel lkike doing so, I'd rather opt for smaller heels now :).

Thats true, they need a lot of getting used to when your top using them for a while, but wearing high heels sure makes your body look more appealing, it lengthens and makes your legs look thinner, it makes the perso look thinner, high heels work like magic

Hello doroffee!
I wish high heels didn't hurt. I see a lot of shoes that look lovely but I know that I would fall and possibly break my ankle haha.
I will just have to try and practice someday.
Thank you so very much for answering. :)

I don't like high heels, this guy had brought some for me, one time and I tried them on, and my feel were hurting so bad, I couldn't walk in them, and I never wore high heels ever again, you might not be use to high heels, if you have never worn them before, why would you want to wear something, and you can't walk in them, just to look nice when you go some where, I am not understanding this, so you would have yourself stumbling in pair of high heels, just to look nice, this don't make any sense to me at all.

It would be nice if you pick your heels in such a way that they fit perfectly on the are of your foot so they don't hurt. My feet dont hurt with high heels, my legs do but its usually from too much standing or walking, otherwise, I'm good.

Hello TLilly12!
Did the guy notice how much you were struggling?
Yeah I see what you mean and if I was wearing something that made me feel sore and uncomfortable then I wouldn't wear them again but I would like to try and get used to wearing high heels.
Thak you very much for answering. :)

If you would like to learn to walk in them, make sure that your back is straight as well (like models). I also read in a fashion magazine that you've got to use walking in them. Try walking around your house or better yet, go to the supermarket and get a cart. the cart will help you balance as your feet get used to your high heels. And when out partying in your high heel shoes, sit down every 20 minutes or so to give your feet rest. It really kills to be beautiful but it doesn't mean we can't pull it off.

I've always felt so sorry for girls who wear High Heels! MY Mom began to teach school when she was 18, and she wore hi-heeled shoes all her teaching days. When she married at age 28 her feet were ruined, and of course in the 1920's the doctors couldn't fix ruined feet. Can they now?
She was a great Mom but she suffered terribly for the rest of her life.
Please don't put style ahead of comfort, Please wear sensible shoes!

Hello barehugs!
I feel so bad for your mum to have ruined feet at such a young age. I'm not sure if anything can be done to fix ruined feet nowadays but I wouldn't be wearing high heeled shoes as much as your mum did. I would like to get the hang of walking in them in case I ever go out to somewhere where I would wear them. Really, I don't get the chance to go out to places like that but I would like to be prepared if I was to.

haha yeah I don't see how women can do that. I panic a bit when I see them running thinking they are going to fall over.
I will practice heaps.

I used to wear high heeled shoes for parties and with more formal clothes. But when I had my back surgery, the surgeon forbid me to use them any more, He said that those shoes were absolutly against nature.

Aw that sucks, sorry you can't wear them anymore but at least there are some nice shoes that aren't high heeled that look just as pretty.

My girlfriend wears high heels too. She just started wearing them she started having a relationship with me. According to her, you need some time to get used to high heels shoes. But you are going to need more time with certain high heel boots. Because it is harder to walk with high heel boots. She took a few months to get used to it and now she can walk with them but definitely not running in them. You should try and get used to it. But remember only wear them during special occasion as the long term effect of wearing high heels is quite bad to your foot.

Hello Nursefrai06!
Well I hope we both practice enough so we can get used to wearing high heels.
Haha the very first thing I thought of when you said you didn't know why you kept buying them, I thought about this show that used to be on. I forget what it was called but it was about people who had addictions. One woman had an addiction of buying lots and lots of shoes. She bought them because they made her happy. Even though she was thousands of dollars in debt. I hope you don't get into that sort of trouble. Not saying you have an addiction. Your answer just made me think of it.

I am not a big fan of heels too. I had to wear very high heels for my prom five years ago so I spend one month in practice. I started with not that high heels and when I was comfortable with them I added a few cm. It worked I spend the prom night danceing and walking like a queen.

That makes me feel better knowing that you went from uneasy to very comfortable walking in high heels. I'm so happy for you that you were walking in them a lot better on such a special night.

Well there are some diffrence in anatomy of a man and anatomy of a woman. But yes I think you should practise more in those shoes (minimum 2 hours daily) and your mind will be calculated all the changes it have to make and your body also get practice of walking on that shoes.

Hello chum24!
Yeah we'll I mean I hardly go out to somewhere special so I am always wearing casual clothes. I would love to wear high heels to some event one day to try and look nice with a pretty dress or something. Plus, it would also make me look taller haha.

Hello mariaperalta!
Well like everyone keeps saying, practice makes perfect but I guess not everyone can't walk in them. I bet you no matter how much I would practice, I would still fall all over the place haha
