Should the askew Wisdom Tooth be extracted?

I'm gonna have my wisdom tooth extracted this afternoon, because it is highly "askew", and it hurts a lot when it grows! And it only hurts at night, when I struggle to fall asleep. But somehow when I don't feel the pain in the daytime, I am a bit inclined to extract it. Not everybody has wisdom tooth, and I think it is kind of a "gift", and part of my body, oh my... What should I pay attention to if I extract it? Or should it be extracted at the first place?

Most of the time wisdom teeth should be extracted because they crowd the other teeth. If someone has a mouth wide enough to accomodate the wisdom tooth, if the tooth is straight there is really no reason to take it out. The best thing is to let your dentist decide.

You are totally right about this, and good news, I had it pulled yesterday, and since the dentist is my cousin, she did it for free;) We always help each other in this way, and I enjoy the kinship. So happy!

Hi, If it is giving you trouble you should give relief to yourself by having it extracted. Mine also hurt but only a little bit, when I don't take care of it by cleaning it thoroughly, it can easily accumulate debris due to its position at the back of the molars.

If it really hurts, then you can have it extracted. It's a major tooth surgery. You will have to experienced swelling of your whole face after the operation. But it will be okay afterwards. Maybe 3 or 5 days your face will be normal again.

My friend was a girl, and she was able to make it after the wisdom tooth extracted from her. I'm sure you can do it as well.

Hah, I mean, if the tooth is askew, should I pull it out? If I do, what should I do before and after I pull the tooth? Oh p.s. I will surely find a doctor to pull it, not by myself.

Oh, I asked a dentist, and she said that tooth should absolutely be pulled, and I did it! It was no pain at all, for she used anaesthetic before that. Everything is perfect now, thank you for being there!
