Tagging the discussion is annoying

My-lot asked to tag every discussion or a response. But why it provide tagging on the next link only. It can provide that column in the first page itself. When net get slowed, my lot work very slowly. It take a lot of time to consume our discussion and than it open another page requesting us to tag that discussion as well. Oh it annoys me a lot. I hardly tag any of my discussion or a response.

Tagging helps us find similiar discussions before posting a new discussion. We have many repeat discussions here because people dont' research that the topic has not already been posted- or they don't tag..so when people like me go to search for a post on a certain topic..it doesn't come up..because it wasn't tagged

Hi...Ms H. sorry beem away for awhile..but it always amazes me HOW everything can be done better...I am NOT at your usage...but have great respect forthis site...and the young'uns find reason to tear it apart...just questioning??????@anilhclites (844)

But they can provide tagging option on the same page in which we are writing our discussion, why on the next page. It took hell of a time to submit our discussion and than it opens yet another page for tagging. So it took some time to finally submit our discussion. If discussion or your response is large than we have to wait for forever.

it use to annoy me too. now i just see it as a way for us to help each other tag our discussion. sometimes when i start a discussion, i don't know what to tag it. then, others will comment on my post and leave a tag behind for me. now i appreciate it.

I have not anything against tagging but the way they are presented to us on two separate page. So it took lot of time to submit our discussion and if net is slow it causes a lot of annoying.

I find tagging discussions to be really annoying, so I usually skip it when I reply on here.

Hey anilhclites,
i know exactly what you mean. in the beginning i was frustrated with all the tagging too. Frankly speaking, i do not have any idea what is the purpose of the tags because i never use it. However, i usually still provide tagging after i respond. in the past i used to tag alot of relevant words after replying. However, now i just tag a one word thing which is relevnat to the disucssion.

now i get what you mean. i totally understand it. It just makes it really troublesome becuase you have to wait for the page to load twice before your respond can finally be posted.

But why on the next page, can't tagging column may be provided on the same page along with discussion and heading. If that is made it will be less time consuming.

Lots of the other guys are not able to get it what i am trying to say. I am not opposed to tagging at all. On the contrary, I appreciate tagging but the presentation could be lot better.

sometimes yes,i can agree with you,but its not a must,you can just skip
but the bad thing is if you skip you can t get many readers i think,and even 5 years later ,if somebody search a topic and use tags which you have used in your topic,they can find your easily
tags are just useful for us,mylot cares us actually
but also little bit annoying and takes time

I am not oppose to tag option. It's a good idea to add tags to your important discussion but my lot can provide that option on the same page in which we are writing our discussion and it's title. Why it's providing on the next page. Just because of it, it takes a lot of time to submit our discussion.

Yeah, sometimes it's annoying really but it do helps us especially if we want to start a discussion, so the probability of being duplicated will be lessen. Most of the time I do tag mine but there are times I skip it too.

I also notice that but I just ignore it . I don't tagged someone :)
