I am watching this movie Big Jake with John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. John has a dog named Dog. So I was just thinking.(headache) If you really wanted to make your dog mad instead of naming him Dog you would name him Cat. Have you seen this movie? Like John Wayne? I like Maureen.

I don't remember this movie at all but as a child did see some movies with Maureen O'Hara - she was a very beautiful woman. A red head, I believe. My favourite old time movie start was Rita Hayworth. I think that she was a beautiful woman and boy, can't she dance.

I loved the mcclintok movies. It costs an arm & a leg to go to the movies nowadays. I had alot rather stay home & watch tv. They took my grandson to see g.i. joe This week & my son was telling me how much it cost. RIDICULOUS!!!

I just watched this movie over the weekend. I really enjoyed it mainly because I just love westerns. Imagine calling a dog by the name "Cat" that is so funny. I wouldn't put it past it that someone as done that. At the end of the movie Dog is killed and I can't believe they didn't show Big Jake getting upset by this. Dog saved alot of the guys through the movie. They should have had a burial for him.

You can see it made him mad though. He couldn't give in to a burial and still be macho Big Jake. lol

It's no big deal names is nothing to animals they don't understand what you mean. The name dog or cat is of no value what is important is what name you want to call the pet and permanently addressed on the named you think fitted. You can even addressed the Lion as tiger and the tiger as lion nor the elephant as bug for your amusement and others only but not to the animals.

Some people have no thought on what their pets should be! I had a friend who had a female dog named Girl! Real original! I also like when people name their dogs Max,Buddy and Puppy! Give me a break! You could come up up with something more original! Like my brothers dogs! He had Thor and Zeus! The other brother has a Yukon! Now those are great dog names! The only John Wayne movies I have are "The Cowboys" and "True Grit". I just have not got around to watch others, yet!

We had Robin, Brownie and another one I can't think of right now. Mostly cat people. Ya, "The Cowboys" and "True Grit" are more recent ones.
