I have savings at a credit union plus my bank account (had it set up by my grandparents as my great aunt use to work there). Years, later I more or less put it in there so I can't touch it, you have to go certain days to get money out, and honestly it's such a hassle. I took my $600 cash from poop n scooping, and dog walking. I put it in my house fund, I didn't want to slip it through the door as it's cash and can't be traced, whereas a cheque you can. The last lady working there I hated, she was so rude and annoying. So I would avoid her at all costs. I would write a cheque and go purposely when they weren't open and drop my cheques off. I walk in and it's a different lady. She was so nice, I gave her the cash and just asked if she recounted it to make sure it's what I counted, and asked if I could bring toonies and loonies in as well. She was congradulating me on the money I have put away in my several accounts, and how good I am doing in this economy, why can;t everyone else do this for me.

I've never had a bad experience when I was banking at the credit union. One bank branch here (a bank I no longer go with) is another story.

Isn't amazing what a good employee can do for a business. I am glad they have a positive person there to deal with now. I bet she will attract more business.

maybe people complained about her so that is why she is gone. who knows, but at least you have someone much friendlier to deal with. good for you too for putting some money away.

I know what you mean, there are some places you go, and people are just nice and then you go other places, you go and people are just plain, nasty towards you, I am glad the lady at the credit union, was plenty to you and she noticed, how well you are saving your money.

I'm glad to hear that either she left or was let go. I'm sure that if she was that bad as a customer to you, she was also bad to deal with as an employee, making it an unhappy place to work. I have that situation where I work. a very negative manager yelling at everybody and going beyond rights as a manager. The good news is, I've heard the store director is having a talk with her today.
