. She is very unwise to leave her intimate clothings at the backyard which may be stolen too

. Rain water is acidic. Sometimes when my clothes got wet in the rain, I will gathered in to rewash them. Moreover, she allows hers to be wet in the rain again and again

Hahahaha... it's funny to know the "rainbow" you are talking about refers to the undies and bras.

Maybe she thinks no one would notice it since she sun it at her backyard, but her act is not hidden from your eye sight.

We sun our clothing and undies inside the house. Because the outside weather, wind, rain will leave a kind of disgusting smell on the clothes. So, we rather sun them in the house, it will get dry, and the detergent powder smell will remain a nice scent on the clothes.

There are many different types of colors and majority are colors that of rainbow. That is why I called it rainbow colors

. You are right, it is better to sun it inside the house as it will get dry very easily

. I like clothing with nice smell especially after some sunlight. However, it is not good to leave it too long under hot sun as it will damage the colors of the clothes as well as the material

I don't have a neighbor like yours who display their personal things out there (hehehe) I wash and dry our undies at the back door (we have a little place serve as wash area which is not visible on public viewing. And I never keep undies hanging for many days being exposed in open air.

It is good that you do take good care of your personal things and do it in a proper manner, not display it in places under public view

. It is not good to allow undies exposed to hot sun for too long

. Not to mentioned having it soaked in rain water and sun dry it again and again. This is really stranged

Hahaha, that is really funny. I just wonder why? Perhaps they want to make an impression that there are people staying in the house all the time. This reminds me of my husband who would hang his washed wet socks and underwear in the car when he travel from state to state last time. By the time he reached his destinations all this wet items will be dry by then. I wonder what people will looking at all this items displayed in the car at stop area along the highways!

You may be right to say that she may wants others to know that the house has occupants. However, I was wondering wouldn't such act triggers a negative situations instead

. The unscrupulous persons may not be tricked by it. They usually very observant on houses like this and for sure will know there is no one in the house

. Your hubby has a great idea of drying his socks and underwear in his car. Though it may looks funny, however it will not be that bad as compared to those that belongs to women

Yeah, I was not very comfortable initially. As days past by, I am getting use to it

. Sometimes, if there are people coming to my house I will closed up the blind behind my house so it will be not be so awkward

. There are different people with different ways of doing things

Ha Ha Ha I bet thats neat. Ive never really notices all the colors. Once I did all my sons and husbands Levis and then white t- shirts on the same day. Looks kinda funny all hung up. Have a great evening there.

I've never hung my underwear outside so I can't even imagine why anyone would do so and especially leave it there so long. Around here they would get stolen and find them hanging all over town or worse. There was this one lady who used to hang hers out and next thing you know, she had some weirdo peeking in her windows. Creepy.

. It is kind of weird thing to see those undies out there in her back yard for two weeks, not just once but again and again

. Yeah, some weird people may steal it. I am just worried for her that it may get stolen someday! Oh! That is such a creepy scene having some weirdo peeking in windows

Those are for the whole family, if I am not mistaken. Her two adult daughters', her's and her husband's as well

. It is heavy rain now, it will surely be wet again

! She must have a lot of spare undies. Sometimes I see the "bras" are very nice color and expensive as well

However, I feel that will not work. Thieves would normally observe the house for sometime before they attack. So, sooner or later they will come to know this house is empty

. And I heard that there was a break in sometime ago

. The behind gate was break loose and police came to investigate. But, I do not know what are the things missing

I take great care when I hang my clothes to dry in the sun. I use the shade for the bright colors (blue and black are the worst if left in the sunlight). I check them and get the clothes in as soon as they are dry. In cold days I check them as sometimes it is better to hang them in the bathroom: the next day they will be dry.

Yeah, she left it at the back yard for two weeks. As she only comes back here once every two weeks

. Sometimes, when there is rain it will get wet and then the hot sun will dry it again. This goes on and off like that until she back to take it in

. It is true that some thieves may steal those undies. I really cannot understand why she would do it that way

Oh my, why i she like that indeed. I always would hang our washed undies in the bathroom, for them to drip the whole day. And in the evening, i would transfer them at the back rack of our refrigerator. Well, i always clean that back part of the ref so our undies could be totally dried there. In the morning it would be so dry. Then i will seemingly iron them with my hands to take away the creases and keep them. That way, it's out of the public's eyes.

If i just let it hang on the bathroom, it will dry after two days. But at the back of the fridge ( Maybe ours is an old model so there's a seemingly rack there at its back), it's just overnight. The next day it's so dry and a bit hot.

Hi ! I was so excited to read this rainbow , i really thought it is really a rainbow...hahaha but it is a different thing ! Maybe she all have those of varieties of undies that is why leaving it in backyard until they comeback ! Some people are not that caring and careful for their undies , it was nothing for them if seen by other people .Personally , i am so strict about undies . It will never be displayed outside , only in my bathroom. No one should see it because i have this crazy thought if others are seeing it like they saw mine already !

I don't know why your neighbors wife keeps the clothes hanging out for so long

. She should give some trusted person the home keys and ask then to take the clothes in once they are dry. Rainbow colors are bright and nice. In the rainy season one rainbow came just outside my window and vanished away very soon. If i keep my clothes outside for so long they will definitely get dirty again and i will have to wash my clothes again. There is lot of traffic in my area and lots of dust keeps coming into my home. We wash the clothes in the washing machine in the morning. In the evening we take the clothes inside. I watch people's clothes to find out if they are really staying in that place or if they have moved to another house.

Me too, neither do I know the reason but I guess she may want to let others know there are people in this house. However, this is not going to work as people will still come to know there is no one in there as the clothes have not been collected for weeks

. I am so glad you did see the rainbow. I love it too. Occasionally I will get to see it after pro long heavy rain

. You are right to say that clothes will get dirty if left outside for too long. I used to sun my laundry for few hours and will bring them in if they are dried. As the color of the clothes under too much exposure of hot sun will easily fade and spoilt too

hi emily7339, does the sun reflects all the rainbow colours to your house?

it is weird that there are still people who were so ignorant about this: 1) by leaving the same clothes hanging outside the house for 2 weeks means the house is empty for 2 weeks! thieves could have aimed to break into this house! 2) rain waters are acidic and dust or insects everywhere outside the house. she would have to wash again after every fortnight when she returns (if she cares about hygiene). 3) daily hot sun for 2 weeks straight could easily spoil the fabric or the materials of her undergarments. 4) there are lots of perverted thieves who aim to steal ladies' undergarments everywhere! i always sun my wife's undergarments inside the house on the railings and be kept hidden in between our other clothes. so her undergarments were not easy to be seen even by us when we were in the house! there's once my wife asked whether i forgotten to sun her undergarments because she could not see it there on the railings!

. I absolutely agree with what you have shared. She is actually inviting trouble to herself by leaving her clothes out for a long period of time while not home. Besides, all the clothings will not be as clean as it has been washed before after the rain and shine over and over again

. It is good to sun the undergarments away from the public view. Even if it is to be under hot sun, it should be taken in after it is dried

It is no longer a problem to me now. I just feeling a bit weird when there are people visiting me and seeing those stuff. However, that is not a problem now as I could closed up the blind behind my house

. It is true, she has her liberty to do what she wishes as that is her compound anyway

. I just worry they may get stolen and it will also get wet in the rain. It has been dry/wet/dry throughtout the two weeks. Since last week till today, it has been raining heavily numerous times. Also, unscrupulous people may notice no one in this house, break in may happen. But, anyway it is still her choice
