I don't understand why we have received this when we have done monthly payment and we know that we don't have any unpaid bills on time previous month. So I would advise my brother to stop paying online. I think it's better to pay in the payment center as we can have real invoice of our payment which we can keep. If we pay online we don't get any kind of receipt at all and quite hard to have evidence of our payment.

Thanks for sharing In case of online payment there is usually a print option after you pay, so if you have printer it should be done. Many times the payments are not updated by the computer and you get a huge bill with notice for disconnection; one must rush and meet them to solve this.

I also agree with you Professor that you should either print out the bills or rush and meet them to solve the problem and try to fix it as soon as possible.

The Electric Company must be receiving your payment late. yeah, much better to pay directly to the company to avoid the trouble of being mistakenly disconnected.

I am sure that your bank would have proof that you have paid that company via online.I will say that I have never had a problem with my bills, as we do all of ours by direct debit, as that way we also have proof on our bank statements that we get.

Most of the time bills are only computer print outs if they have been paid. I mean the bill goes out before the data base updates. A notice to disconnect is serious though. If I were you I would call them and ask to speak to someone who can verify your account is in order.

Really? Maybe you can save a print screen of the payment notification each time you pay online. Or maybe you can secure an online statement of account, or ask that from the billing company so you can reconcile your accounts with them. I think they have some call centers for addressing such issues. Why not try giving them a call first and see if you can have this taken cared of. Usually, its a matter of cut offs. Like if you paid beyond the cut off, the billing has been processed and your payment naturally will not be reflected in the current statement, but in reality, you have no unpaid balance.

the best thing that i can say is call the company armed with the payment info and make sure that it has been paid and up dated do not wait to the last day there is nothing wrong with paying on line just make sure that the account numember is right this does happen from time to time

I think most probably you should try to stop paying online and try to pay at the center if there is problem arising from paying online. I think it is good to keep the receipt of both the bills paid at various centers as well as online so that you can solve if any problems come in the future.
