I am a working student. and it wasn't that easy though. there has been a lot of things to think to and to tend to. a lot of time to give to. and to sacrifice to. but in the end, it was worth it. i was able to manage through tough times. and the not so tough times.. there are times that i would fall asleep during class hours. and during class lectures, i would bee making my class lectures and class preparations for the afternoon class. i know that this is not the case for other students working out there. but it was all worth. it. have you tried working even while studying?

yes, you are both right. but to think of it, the time is always the problem. there are times that i would be late in my work. and there were times that i was sleeping in our class. hehe. but the pay is good. i get to eat and get to pay some of the amount in my tuition. time management is important though. but in the end, it is still up to our own self that must be beaten down in order to achieve what is in our goal's list. hehe.. thank you guys/girls.

Hey jingbautista, i totally understand what you mean. First, i would wnat to know how old are you now and if you are in college? For me, I'm currnetly in my final semester in college and will be graduating in July this year. I was in polytechnic for 3 years and the whole 3 years i was working part-time. You are right, it is really not easy. No easy at all. In the beginning i was working wtih a company but their timing was fairly flexible where i had to liberaty of choosing the timing that i wanted to work. however, during vacations, i would work full-time. Thereafter, i started giving tuition becuase the money was better. I had 8 students at one time and it was really very bad because i just spent all my time working. i did not even spend much time with my friends and i totally regret now. DO you really need to make the money? otherwise, i suggest you tone down a little with work because school is still more important at this point of our life.

thank you for this. I am 26 already. and i am currently taking up a postgrad studies. if you want to know the details, we can talk in private. hehe yes, it was not easy. but i am attuned to this. I was able to hurdle my past studies while being a part time worker. never give up, i used to say that. but as i see it, i thought of giving up at times. i want to finish this course of mine now. this has been my long time dream. i hope you can help me dream_ozn. thank you again..

it's nice to hear that you are taking up postgrad. It's nice to hear that you are able to attune to working and studying both at the same time. Kudos to you seriously. Definitley sometimes, it gets so hard that we feel like giving up. But hang on and you'll be done in no time :)

I know lots of people do part-time jobs while studying. I have not done working while studying fully, but I have done my education especially my degree while I was working and I did it through private registration without attending classes. I think most probably you should try hard to complete your education and try to work if you want to earn extra money.

the sense of completeness and the feeling of "it's all worth it" in the end is what awaits those who are less fortunate to have an education that is supported by either their parents or any scholarship programs. i hope to have any of both. but it is just that life isn't on me right now. trying my best for all to see, that everything is possible. hehe.. from a song. thanks ajithlal

Yes, I have worked part-time while studying. I had got a job as a waiter in a restaurant. That was not a really very good job, but I enjoyed it because the restaurant was good and posh and many posh people were the customers. While I was working in the restaurant, I used to forget everything about school. I used to feel as if I was in some other world.

I have never tried that one. But when I think of it I feel like I would give up, I don't know if I can do it simultaneously. So I am really really hands down to those who are studying and working at the same time. I salute you guys! =) I really do. I hope you finish your studies and be successful in the future. GODSPEED Brotha! =)

yes, it is always good to work and study at the same time. but the work load at times is just so great that you will be sacrificing one from the other. hoping that this coming semester i will have a job and at the same time, be able to balance my life as well.
