How do feel taking a midnight snacks?

Snacks - Midnight snacks.

I can't control having a midnight snacks when I'm starving, I really want to control myself for a midnight snacks but its more worse getting in bed with my stomach crumbling. Although my wife so aware of it. She doesn't like midnight snacks or even any kind of food before bed. How about you? Are you one of those can't resist a midnight snacks. Do you control or indulged lol. What kind of food do you usually consumed for your midnight snacks.? Thanks.Happy sharing.

a pleasant day to you montevilla, your topic hits me at this point, well, i just had my midnight snack. although i am not taking it regularly except when i feel a crumbling inside my stomach. as i find it difficult to just ignore it, as it will lead to a stomach pain for me. so as i will eat at least a small part of a snack just to relieve the sudden hunger and craving.

good day to you montevilla, same as you are, i am also trying to avoid eating midnight snack at i want to maintain my flat tummy. but there are times, i can't really help it, as my tummy keeps on crumbling and looking for some food to eat....

I have the same feeling during midnight especially when dinner has been served quiet early. I can always feel that crumbling tummy so, I have to grab at least a bit of a snacks, a coffee, cookies or something. I hope I can get rid of it. Thanks for your response.

I was just thinking about this last night. I really need to quit munching on stuff so late. I just snack whenever. Not into all that health jibberish. I like chocolate, corn chips or licorice for my midnight snacks.

Its hard to quit when we know are tempted of something. Chocolate,corn chips are really hard to resist.lol. But I hope I really can,but I don't know how? Thank you for your response.

Yeah, I also like to have midnight snacks. It is hard to resist eating when my stomach crumbles. But sometimes I don't have any food to eat, so I just drink much water, lol, but it works for me. By the time your stomach don't crumbles anymore.

I agree with you,resistance to a midnight snacks seems hard for me too. Water can be just fine and can temporary relieve hunger, I usually do that too. Thank you for your response.

i think it may make you fat. As I’ve pointed out before, snacking makes you both fat and weak. And as the beginning of “Eat Like A Predator” states, much of the purpose of a paleo diet is to let you avoid snacking entirely:

I guess you are right, that's my wife opinion and afraid of. It stored fat for the whole night. I think I have to to do something about it. Thanks for the response.

I never do that.. Im good that when I fall asleep Im out for the night. My ex used to get up 12-1 am for a cup of soda and something to eat. Not me.

i like to take my snacks in the evening... but if that is something that i like a lot then anytime that i get it i will eat..hahahha

If ever I feel hungry during midnight, I open my freeze but do not eat what ever is available there, my first search is for some sweets or fruits because in that time I do not want to heat anything to eat. Or else I drink some juice and go for sleep again after having a glass of water.

I try to avoid eating midnight snacks coz i know that it would really make anyone fat and unhealthy. But when I was pregnant, sometimes I could not control my hunger so my husband would often buy me congee. Well, I did gain weight a lot---about 50 pounds!

I also think those woman need to have at least snacks every now and then..Its like craving and it has to be meet at anytime. And its also healthy for both baby and the up coming baby. Thanks for the response.

Wouldn't having midnight snacks be unhealthy? I never actually eat anything at 12 pm before going to sleep because that's fattening. But I don't really get why you're starving in the middle of the night. Usually when you're asleep at that time, you won't feel hunger at all.

I love midnight snacks! Although I must admit that too much midnight snacking does put a bulk on your figure LOL . So, the best way to handles such temptation is to put a little of everything.

Midnight is my favorite time to it. I don't know why I feels it that I want to crave lots of food at that time. I cannot control it because my mind tells me that I want to eat food. I actually consume junk foods but sometimes if we have fruits inside the refrigerator. I prefer to choose fruits.

Well, I hardly do a snack before bedtime. However I must say that sometimes, especially when I had dinner with little food, before going to bed, or even if I'm awake a few more hours, around midnight I can eat a croissant, and soon after, however, I need to drink a cup of coffee . Ok bad habit (I mean that of coffee), but still for me, is like a vice to which I just do not know give it up. However, I must admit that if I am several kilograms overweight, the more I owe what I eat outside the meals regularly, for example, the snack of 4 pm.

in my college times,i liked to have midnight snacks occasionally.the snacks were various around my college,including dumplings,barbecue,fried chickens and bread etc.but usually i didn't eat too much as i wanted to sleep comfortable.after my 26 years' birthday.i nearly rejected all kinds of midnight snacks.cos i found that my metabolic function seemed worse than before.i always felt windy and i got more and more fat than before.i knew i couldn't eat midnight snacks any more.now,i get used to sleeping early,and never eat anything after my brushing teeth.

Yes I think people tend to slow metabolic rates gets slow but most of us here can't resist the midnight snacks,i'm in my early 30 and so I think I have to eliminate this hobby soon. Thank you for your response.
