I like Deva Vitamin Pills which come from America. I eat a vegan diet so these are ideal for me. I find the British on-line shops have low stock of many of these. I had to make two separate orders and one came with high postage costs. How I wish I could have got the vitamins from the same on-line shop. I have been waiting weeks to see if the item would come back into stock. I emailed the on-line shop and they said the next delivery is three weeks away. I have began to get some vitamins at the health food shop in my local town. Vegetarian and vegan multivitamins Vegetarian and vegan iron Vegetarian and vegan omega are all available at my local health food shop Deva Vitamin B12 I have been able to order from the known and used before on-line shop Deva hair, skin and nails is the one hard to get Where do you get your vitamins from? Which sorts of vitamins do you take?

Have you ever bought from swansonvitamins.com? They are very affordable. I take phosphatidylserine as well as vitamin b12. phosphatidylserine has some good scientific data backing it up.

I like to buy whole food vitamins because they are the only kind of vitamins that seem to not go right through you. They are also created from food sources so that way the body digests them better. I usually buy my supplements and vitamins offline because you can usually find better deals there and sometimes you can find bulk deals or specials. Some of the sites that I use are vitacost.com and takeherb.com. I like takeherb better because they offer samples and specials when you buy over a hundred dollars or fifty dollars. You also qualify for free shipping I think when you spend over a hundred dollars. I haven't bought any regular vitamins for a while though because I've been buying a lot of herbal supplements.

The only thing I take now is cod liver oil, Seven Seas, I take one capsule a day with my breakfast, because it helps to lubricate my joints as I do so much exercise, I need my joints working so I can continue my rigorous gym sessions. I remember my GP actually recommending taking Centrum, but they are very expensive, they are multi-vitamins. I have a calcium deficiency, so I have to have a calcium tablet every day.

I'm sorry to see you take so many different supplements. I take none whatsoever & my doctors all agree my blood & other test results are better than any one of their other patients who get loaded up with all sorts of vitamins & minerals daily. With one of my doctors, she is anti-vegan & baffled every time when my detailed diet does not match with what she knows about nutrition. She always asks for a big picture of me to hang up on her wall so she can make an example of me to her other patients. I did used to take heaps of vitamin & mineral supplement when I was very young. Getting off of them was difficult, but the changes once we succeed are wonderful indeed! On the labels of these supplement containers, we can read that these pills are only of benefit if our dietary intake is inadequate. I learned from other health professionals over the years that taking any of these over long periods of time is actually doing us harm. This is why we should get tests done regularly & only take supplements when we really need them, making dietary adjustments in the first instance & only relying on pills as a final resort. I wish you good health in the future.

I take lots of vitamins and here in the US there is no shortage of anything. I wish I could get everything I needed from my diet but lets get real. I like that there are a variety of vitamins and I like to try them out. Some I think have no effect. I like when I can take a vitamin and feel ite effects. I feel better when I take vitamins.

I read an exptensive study on the most effective vitamins (at least here in America), and I was happy to see the ones I was already on was recommended highly. I take One a Day Women's vitamins. It's an all in one kind of thing. But in addition, I take Nature Made Vitamin B12 in 3000mg because I have a vitamin B12 deficiency and my doctor told me I needed to take it.

I don't buy any additional vitamins as I honestly think that a decent diet should provide all we need.

I used to take some vitamins that I decided were good for me. Each of them was not very expensive, but they all added up. My sister, a scientist, showed me scientific literature that proved the only good way to get vitamins and minerals (plus trace elements) was by eating enough veggies and fruit. Only if the doctor gave me a special pill should I take them. My doctor left me with a mixture of Calcium plus Viamin D (due to my age) and now gave me folic acid. That`s all.

Hey maximax8 Good to see you are taking care of your health and trying to live a healthy life. I take spirulina and vitamin C every day or two. I also used to take Zinc, Selenium, and others in the past. Im mostly sticking to vitamin C because its water soluble so you know no matter how much one takes, the body always utilizes what it needs and flushes away the rest. So it's best to take Vitamin C daily a couple of time throughout the day. Also Spirulina i take on occasion mostly for its Protein content, it contains all the necessary amino acids the body needs. Plus many other vitamins and minerals, chlorophyl etc. And i also "take" Vitamin D indirectly by exposing my body at least once a day in the sun, wearing shorts or pulling up the sleeves to get the sun touch my body and make the Vitamin D production magic happen :)

i wish you dont misunderstand me but i am totally against to the vitamins,we have to live naturally and we should get our vitamins from vegetables and fruits i think. of course this is only my opinion but after i heard bad news about people who were dying because of vitamin drinks,i am just afraid of getting vitamins but in america vitamins must be populer, i was having vitamin c when i was kid and when i catched a cold but in these days,i just try to cure myself naturally peace

Hi maximax8 :) I am taking Vitamin C almost all my life. I think we can never get complete health with eating healthy foods alone. I've been using products made in the Philippines but recently my sis-in-law from Singapore sent us Holland and Barett's Vitamin C-1000 mg. It says it's Europe made; food supplement for vegetarians and vegans. It's purely organic made from Wild Rose Hips. This is the first time I'm trying natural vitamin C. So far, no side effects and I'm relatively not sickly after taking it.
