Using The Search Engine / myLot

do any of you know whether or not we get paid if we use the search engine to search for discussions? or do you just get paid for using to search for other things outside of mylot?

"MyLot Search" can be used not only to matters related to MyLot discussions, but also to any matters that you search using other important search engines. But, search should be genuine. More about this is available in MyLot F&Q http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq24.aspx

i wonder what would qualify as a "genuine" search. aren't all searches genuine? i don't understand that part, but okay.

Earlier a MyLoter has posted here about getting "Warning" for searching his birthday or so. Repeated searching of silly matters too can cause suspicion about genuineness of the "Search".

You get randoms payments for using the search engine. A notification will pop up randomly and tell you what you have gotten in the way of monetary payment and it will show up on your earnings as well. It's a great addition if you do alot of research and want some added info or are just looking for something. Every little bit adds up.

I use them all time in my research for articles. I just used it twice a couple of weeks ago and I got a notification that I had gotten 0.08 cents. Adds up.

Hi MoonGypsy, we will get paid using mylot search engine to info. I'm not sure whether searching discussion is included.

have to reread the guidelines thoroughly again. It's really convenient to search articles using or info using it. It doesn't matter how much it will pay as long as it’s handy. It's great to see window popping up with reward after what have searched adding up. It violates the rule if using abusively

well, i think i well just use it every now and then, because i like the feature. it is convenient. but, i don't want to be accused of abusing it.

Hello there! I got a couple of rewards for using myLot search engine whether to search for past discussions or just random searching. And since I do a lot of research lately, I've been using the myLot search engine and get a few extra cents from it. And it definitely helps increase my earnings :)
