I was diagnosed with an acute laryngitis. My doctor advised that I should get some voice rest. It is hard for me to do that since I am not used of being quiet. I love talking. :-) Part of my medication is to avoid drinking tea and coffee. My doctor said that drinking such caused our throat to get dry. And because I am working in a call center, definitely I don't have a choice but to follow, right? So for the next 2-3 month I will surely miss my gong cha and cha time and most especially my starbucks coffee..:-(

Oh i can understand how difficult it would be to leave your tea and coffee when you are working with a call centre but no need to worry just try to take some kind of juices inspite of tea and coffee and very soon all the things would be well, thanks

Your right, I do take water instead as an alternative. Though I was told that I can still drink coffee or tea but make sure to drink lots of water to wash it out. Thanks.
