Yesterday I took an examination, and one of the topics is about "the influence of the internet, and information explosion in particular, on our way of thinking". Until I finished writing about this topic, I still didn't figure out how can information explosion have to do with our way of thinking? I thought over and over again, and still couldn't find a possible explanation. Dear mylotters, could you give me any information or your perception for my reference? I really need you share your views! Thank you mylotters!

Well, the main thing that I can think of that the explosion in information has changed is the fact that there aren't nearly as many mysteries as there used to be. In other words, if we have some kind of a question, it is really easy for us to just type in our question on an internet search engine and find the answer to that question in just a portion of a minute. In addition to that, I also do think that these advances in information has made it to where there is more false information that we can find.

This is an interesting point about users way of thinking. In my opinion world has changed very fast in the last years and a few years ago we was reading books and newspapers, but now we get news and any information in internet in fews minutes. This is a high change which open the doors to any person to take any information about anything. I think that information explosion start at the moment when everybody can be able to publish anything across internet. Twenty years ago only newspaper writers, book writers, magazine, tv, radio news give us information, suddenly you, your friends, me and everybody can be able to convert in writers to share information in blogs, articles, social spaces and more. I think this phenomenon has created a new way of comunicacion and share information with a lot of posibilities, and it influence our way of thinking converting us in more well-informed people with a remarkable criterion.

The internet sparked an immense rise in autodidacticism, the process of self educating. Nowadays there are bedroom psychologists, home garage mechanics, backyard astronomers and warehouse nuclear technicians because of it. Is this a good or bad thing? That is up to oneself, but the rises in dangers to our existence seem to multiply in an exponential manner as each year goes by. Is the ability to self educate to blame for this? When an entire realm of knowledge is open to any who choose to enter, does it bring a reward? Or does it bring a curse?
