My sister-in-law is in Israel at the moment. She is going to work there for one month and she will return to Denmark in the end of April. When she returns she is going to visit Austria with her boyfriend and before she left for Israel she went on vacation in Turkey. It is only April and she already planned 3 trips this year I think that is amazing. I am not sure if I will be able to travel this year because we spent our savings on the trip to Asia, but if I take an extra job in the summer months I might be able to visit Ukraine and Moldova in October or November, but I am not sure yet. Did you visit any new places in the first 4 months of 2013? Which places in your own country or abroad would you like to visit between May and December this year?

I hope that you will get the chance to visit the lotter that you mentioned. Have you met other lotters in the past? I have never met anyone, but I hope that it will be possible in the future Many of my friends live very far away from my country and it would be expensive to visit them, but I hope that it will be possible one day. At the moment I stay in my own country and I plan on visiting some of the small islands in my area this summer. I have only visited a few of them and I think that it would be interesting to explore some of the other islands this summer.

HI, No friend, so haven't met any of the lotters. I call/text or mail them at times. I think it would be really good to explore the nearby places thereby spending less too. Have a great time.

Where are you from? The plane ticket from another part of the world to Asia can be expensive, but the once you arrive in Asia the local prices of food etc might be much lower than the prices in your own country. I am from Europe and I visited Asia last year. The plane ticket from Europe to Asia was expensive, but once we arrived in South East Asia we spent less money that we expected because things were generally much cheaper than the same things in my own country (or other countries in Western Europe) We travelled for 6 weeks and we visited Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. Which countries in Asia would you like to visit?

I hope that your sister is enjoying it in Israel. In a fantastic year I have one trip overseas for two to four weeks and one trip in my home country for a week. That was the case last year with a four week trip to South America in March and April 2012 and one weeks holiday to Cornwall in July. I know that you spent a lot on your trip to Asia this year. It might have been in February that you went. Your flight there from Europe was long and pricey. I hope you will be able to afford a trip to the Ukraine and Moldova in October and November. We will be visiting Ukraine and Moldova in May and June 2013. We are thinking of popping up to Leicester to visit Tropical Bird World in July or August for a long weekend. The weather in my home country until now has been too poor for great days out, weekends away or holidays.

You will soon be able to visit Ukraine and Moldova I hope that you will write about your trip when you return because I am very interested in hearing about it. I still don't know for sure if I will be able to visit Ukraine and Moldova this year. I hope that it will be possible if I work all summer, but it depends on the money that I will be a able to save up during those months. If I have enough money I would like to visit Ukraine and Moldova in October. The Tropical Bird World sounds like an interesting place to visit. There is a bird park in the area where I used to live. I didn't get the chance to visit it while I lived in that area, but I might visit it this summer instead. I hope that we will get a nice summer this year, last year it was cold and rainy most of the time.

Hi Potcospino, I feel interest about Israel. Because it is the only Jews country of the world surrounded by hostile Arab countries. Judaism and Christianity the two great religions originated from this land. This country is also Holy Land of Muslims. Your sister in law is lucky that she got opportunity to work there . I hope you and your husband will be able to visit Ukraine and Moldova.

I think that Israel would be an interesting place to visit because it is a meeting place for 3 different religions. My sister-in-law has been there before, but she was still excited about going there again. I have never been to that part of the world, but I would like to visit Israel and Petra in Jordan. I really hope that we will be able to visit Ukraine and Moldova this year. At the moment we don't have any money for travelling, but if we take an extra job and work hard in the summer months it might be possible for us to travel in October or November.

I envy her, too I really love travelling and I wish that I were able to visit 3 different places in 4 months like she did. At the moment I can't afford to visit other countries and I plan on taking an extra job in the summer months and that way I might be able to travel in October. I would like to visit Ukraine and Moldova, but it all depends on the money that I will be able to save up. If I don't have enough money I will have to wait and travel in 2014 instead. Which country in Asia would you like to visit? I want to go back to Asia in the future and next time I would like to visit Singapore, Malaysua, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Great to hear that you make it to travel to Israel. I also want to visit the Holy Land someday. In the first 4 months of 2013, I ‘m on planning to go to Singapore and Thailand, its my country’s neighbor in South East Asia. The countries have many tourist destination and spotlights. In Singapore, I wll go to Orchard Road, Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre, and in Thailand, I will visit Bangkok, the prosperous capital city in the country, and also Pattaya and Phuket. Hope I will have fun with my family there.

I can see that you are from Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand would be easy places to visit since they are close to your own country. I visited Thailand last year, and I spent some days in Bangkok. I really enjoyed the time that I spent there, and next time I would like to visit other parts of Thailand. I have never been to Singapore, but I would like to visit Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia on the same trip. The plane ticket from Europe to Asia is quite expensive so I would like to visit more than one country at the same time. It will take me a long time to save up for the next trip to Asia, but I hope that it will be possible to visit those countries one day. I hope that you will have a great time in Singapore and Thailand

A few days ago I just took a train to get back to my hometown for the formalities of my passport, which will be my first passport ever. It is because my boss plans to offer me a free trip to South Korea in mid-May. So my recent travel plan is going abroad to South Korea. It will be also my first travel abroad, which makes me feel excited. I am looking forward to the coming of that day.

That sounds very exciting. I am happy to hear that you will get the chance to visit South Korea. I have never been there, but is one of the countries that I hope to visit in the future. Maybe I will be able to visit both South Korea and Japan on the same trip, but that is not going to happen in the near future, because I don't have the money for that kind of trip at the moment. Mid-May that is very soon. How much time are you going to spend in South Korea? I hope you will have a great trip

Hi there @Porcospino ! Nice to chat with you again here in myLot. It has been awhile. Anyway, what your sister-in-law is doing is nothing short of amazing! I admire her and someday I'd like to travel as much as well. Except for the summer road trip that I had with friends in a popular beach island here in the Philippines, Sabang Beach, Puerto Galera, I haven't really had the chance to travel. No plans yet but I'd like to go and spend Christmas in Hong Kong Disneyland. That's about it for my travel plans this year.

Right now, my focus is more on getting our own place and moving out of this rental than on travel. Oh, I would like to take a trip. However, it is not practical at the moment. Moving us closer to having our own home is a much higher priority for me right now. Once we have our own house, my boyfriend and I will be freer to take a trip somewhere.

I understand what you mean. I have lived in rented apartments most of my life, but two years ago my husband and I bought our own place. Right after we moved we spent our money on the house and we weren't able to travel, but we didn't regret our decision at all. Good luck with the plans about your own house

I really cannot afford to go anywhere this year but I do love to travel. Actually, Israel is on the top of my bucket lists of places to visit. To get there would be a dream come true. I envy her!

I envy her, too. Since she is going there as part of her job she doesn't have to pay for the trip herself and she will spend one month in Israel. Of course it is not a holiday and she has work while she is there, but I still think that it would be great to spend a month there. I hope that you and I will both get the chance to visit Israel one day

A pleasant day Porcospino, It is really great to have some travel plans as this will promote relaxation of the mind and body. As for me here, so far I have done some local trips though I will be doing an international trip this coming weeks and hopefully if God permits, I can leave for a great work opportunity...as I am really praying for this to happen..

I hope that things will work out for you and that you will get the job you mentioned Which kind of job is it? Yes, it is great to have travel plans. I don't have money for international trips at the moment, but I plan on visiting some of the islands in my own country next month. There are many small islands in the area where I live and I plan on exploring some of those islands with my husband and one of our friends. I think that will be a lot of fun and hopefully the sunny weather will continue.

I've been to one new country this year, as well as 3 others that I had visited before. I don't live where I was born, you see, so I go home to visit family around once a year. So I went home during one of the trips, and stopped by some friends on the way. So while I've been in 4 different countries besides Israel where I live this year, I've only seen one new one. But hopefully I will get to see some more new places before the year is over!

It is great that you have had the chance to travel several times this year I have also lived abroad and I always enjoyed the visits in my own country a lot. It was so nice to see my family and my friends again. Which country are you from? It is nice that you also had the chance to visit a new country this year. Which country did you visit? I love to visit new places. I hope that I will be able to visit Ukraine and Moldova this year. My husband and I went to Asia last year and we spent most of our savings on that trip, so we don't have much money to spend to on travelling at the moment, but if I take an eztra job in the summer months we might be able to travel in October or November.

To go on travel is really enjoyable but needs also a lot of cash to spend to enjoy and explore. I have a book ticket to Brunei this June and local trip this May, I'm planning to go visit Thailand by next year, Cambodia and Indonesia but need to save money I usually book ahead of time for cheaper rates and have my travel board for local and international. When I heard and watched places that are good and beautiful I list it down and plan on how much should I save and the possible expenses for the travel

That is true, we need cash if we want to travel. I often wish that I had a lot of money to spend on travelling because there are so many different places around the world that I would love to visit. I don't have a lot of money so I save up for one trip at a time. Right now I am saving up for a trip to Ukraine and Moldova. I hope you will enjoy your trip to Brunei. I have never been there, but I think that I could combine it with a trip to Malaysia and Indonesia. Maybe one day I went to Thailand and Cambodia last year, and I especially liked Cambodia. I visited Siam Reap/Angkor Wat and Phnom Penh. Good luck with your travel plans
