So Yeah I Have Been Scammed

Philippines

Silly me for not listening to the warning signs: her rate is too good to be true, she does not require me to send verification documents, she wants to finish the transaction as soon as possible. I feel so stupid for falling for her scheme. Supposedly she would encash my $74 and transfer the funds to my bank account. Unfortunately, she has other plans. She logged off even before the reality sunk on me - yes I have been scammed. I know $74 is not much but I waited for that money for months. I was hoping that that money can help me especially now that I am unemployed. I cannot even put into words the disappointment I am feeling right now. I believe in the Karmic cycle. Time will come when she has to pay for every bad thing she has done. You all be careful! -End-

Hey, $74 isn't a small amount. That's almost 3K in our currency. It's sad to hear that you got scammed by those online money changers. I've had my share of lost money due to scammers, and it can really be so disappointing to be duped especially if we somehow had alarm bells ringing already. I guess the only thing you could do right now is to take this as a learning experience. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be able to earn that lost amount in no time. Welcome to myLot

You should have just contacted MGCSeller or GoldenPay at Sulit. They're the ones I exchange my LR funds with and never have any complaints. If you're going to check their status as well, they're ranked high at Sulit. Although, they rarely trade with STP. They only buy STP funds when someone is in need of buying it from them. Get your STP account verified. Even if you don't have a credit card to withdraw your funds with, at least (once your account is Standard verified) you can then use xchanger.org to exchange your STP funds to LR. From there, you can easily sell LR funds to MGCSeller or GoldenPay and receive your money direct to your bank account.

It's really difficult to sell STP funds. You should try the Standard Verification of STP. They made it easier this time around. You only need to upload a Valid ID and proof of billing address to get your account Standard Verified. Once you're a Standard Verified member, you can then use the regular exchangers like xchanger.org or alertexchanger to exchange your STP funds to LR. At least with LR, you can easily sell it to MGCSeller or GoldenPay.

It is difficult to find buyers of STP at Sulit. There are only a few of them. I chose her because she has the most positive feedback among other. Needless to say, all those feedback are made up. :| This is unfair for us who use Sulit. We base our decision on which seller to make transactions with through their customer feedback but some scammers are using this very tool to deceive people.

I heard you can file a dispute by sending mail to investigation@solidtrustpay.com I guess you can also contact them via the available contact form too. If you can provide enough proofs, such as conversation between you and her etc, I think it will helps more.

Yeah, like you, I was being scammed also before. It was in my college days, fourth year to be specific. I want to buy a second hand desktop computer and one of my closest friend recommended one of her friends who were looking for a buyer for her pc because she wants to sell it as she wants to buy a new one but according to her it is still working and she just used it for almost three months.I,as a friend of her friend , immediately say yes and gave all my trust with that lady. I even gave $50 as a down payment even without seeing yet that computer set and even gave landmark of my boarding house and a lot of contact numbers just for her to reach and for her to deliver the computer set without hassle. But I was very wrong to trust her because after the down payment was given. She was gone and my money. It was almost Php 2000.00 and I can't help but cry for disappointment.
