Don't show Mylot!

I was emailing a mylot friend yesterday and showed her my new arrangement of using decorative plates (some antique) in my little dining room. Well, it then got to my sending her photos of my antique blue and white collection of plates that are displayed on a very old fashioned dresser that belonged to my children's great grandmother. Oh an also a blue and white very large china elephant. He's the size of an end table.
I then mentioned that I had a mahogany dressing table in my bedroom but would not send a photo of it until I had cleared it of stuff
This morning, I cleared it of stuff, carefully polished it and then took the photograph.
Stupid me! The mirror in the dressing table reflected me taking a photo of it. So as well as seeing my antique dressing table she sees me in the photo - in my nightie- taking the photo
So I sent it to her with a note that she must not show it on Mylot.

Stay away evil twin, stay away! Although maybe you should upload it as we all need a laugh on Mylot these days. Too intense and scary so lets have silly posts

I have a few of those!
I went downtown yesterday because I had an interview with a head hunter. Parking downtown is so terrible (and expensive) that it was a few blocks away (or so I thought) when I finally managed to find a spot. I got stuck in traffic coming in so I was running late when I finally left the car. I was literally running to the building I was supposed to be at. I kept following the GPS on my phone and I must have been running (and panting) about 4 blocks when I realized that it was directing me back to where I came from. As it turns out, the office that I had to go to was just at the back of the building where I parked! There's just a lot of one way streets downtown, that the GPS made me go by way of car.
I could have just walked the half block to where I was going (opposite the direction of car traffic).

I have those on a regular basis! LOL....two days ago I was so mad at myself for something stupid I did that cost me money. I got my charge card bill and there was a charge on it to this catalog company I ordered from 8 months ago....well I called the credit card company and they said the charges have been on my card for 8 months....I was livid. I called the catalog company and they said when I put my order in online its right before you send in your order.....you pay $15.00 a month for their rewards program....which means I would get $15.00 off my next order. So why would I pay $15.00 a month for $15.00 off an order when I only ordered once? The guy said well you agreed to it when you hit send the order in!!!!! What made me so mad is that I hadn't looked at my bill that closely....just took the charges and paid the amount due! Stupid or what??

Oh goodness, it seems that you didn't pay attention to what's on bill for 8 months. And realize it after 8 months later. Whilst you have paid the same amount for 7 months before, oh my...I don't know what to say, lol. Though I am sorry that yoy have experience it. I have been charged by credit card for a card that I've never used or even activate. Luckily I realized it and contact the company to solve it. And fortunately so I don't have to pay for it.
No, you are not stupid, though just not paid attention, I guess ^^;

Hmm...we are both blond and we both have the same name. I have so so so many of those kind of moments but sorry...if you guys missed them I sure as heck am not going to disclose them here on Mylot. You didn't really think I'd fall for that one did you?

I don't believe I've ever done that before. However, Sunday was a "blonde moment" day for me as I was messing up big time. At first I couldn't laugh about it, but that changed and I made the best of it.

I think endorphins is the right word.
I am feeling better today.
The other day it was because I dropped a glass before work and had to wait to get home to clean it up, not something I was looking forward to.
Then again fifeteen minutes before leaving work I dropped a bottle of shampoo and had to clean that up..
It was just a blah day, but was making silly mistakes and saying silly things all day.

In my home we can go along without any problems and then it is like a dozen glasses/cups are broken in a week. And none of us can explain how it happened. Don't beat up yourself - you are fabulous and beautiful, loving and kind.

I don't recall. I saw something on tv recently that I thought was nice. It was a person's wall where they had put up blue and white(must be popular) plates on the wall. It really looked nice.

I love antiques. Have had to sell some things over the years for emergency money and it was very sad to let go of them. My grandmother had a tiger wood dresser and a round cherry wood dining table that were lovely.

I know what you mean. I was relieved to have them to sell at the time too. Yes, tiger wood is nice. Hope you find some good pictures.

That was so funny, thanking for making me laugh, sorry it was at your expense, but hey I am sure you can see the funny side now, and it's an easy mistake to make! I tend to have most of 'moment's when I am not fully awake, it's like I am walking around in a trance, it's only when I get a coffee inside me that I start to awake and even then I have put coffee in my cereal bowl instead of my mug! I am getting better at it but do wear a sleep mask so the light does not wake me. I was upealry after 5am and did some work etc and then thought to clean off the top of the dressing table. when I looked at the photo and saw me inmy nightie looking like hel*l - then I just had to laugh. I should get the lady to upload it to give us all a laugh today. I cannot upload it as I have forgotton how to do it Rarely use this feature

I am thinking that I should tell her to upload it (I can't) so we can all have a laugh. We need a laugh badly on Mylot. I've been carrying around something bad that happened two weeks ago and can't tell my family. Not sure if I should discuss it but I am only beginning to get over the shock.

lol, u might have got some suitors w/that picture. My last minute, every minute of the day lately. Went to the grocery, got everything put away & realized i didn't have my bananas & lemons i had bought. I called the grocery & they said to come back. didn't feel like it then & thank heavens i didn't go & show my pottotie because i found them in the freezer a couple of days later, duh!
