Another ingrown toenail!

Yes and this is the third one I have had so far! All have have been on my big toes!Yesterday I went in to have one taken care of. I didn't! I had an ingrown nail on my left big toe 13 months ago! Now I do again! The foot doctor looked at it and said he wants to take part of the nail out and kill the nerves so I won't have another ingrown toenail on this toe! We hope! So on May 16th I need to go in have that taken care of and take it easy for a few days! If it isn't one thing it is another!

This getting old stuff is not any fun! I've had a couple of ingrown toenails myself, the PITS!

Yes getting older sucks! Not fun,either! Hopefully when I see the foot doctor on May 16th what he does to the toe,I will not have another ingrown toenail on that toe! Not looking forword to the shot in the toe to numb it for the surgery! Yuck!

That was the worst part of it, though it did take a few days to feel normal again and not in pain. I will say that mine didn't hurt all the time, just that any time is too bad and wanted it fixed before it got worse. Thanks for the BR!

I get those occasionally and if someone steps on my foot by accident I just about pass out....and nothing in this world feels better then when they take them out...oh the relief!

I will be happy when the toenail is taken care! Once in awhile the ingrown toenail does hurt. I hope it doesn't get infected before I have my appiontment! I have known people who let the toe get infected before they go to the doctor! Not me!

Well, that is a good thing. Hate ingrown nails. Ugh! Be good to get that done.

I don't like to mess around with ingrown toenails! I have known a few people who didn't go and have the ingrown toenail taken care of until it got infected! Not me!

Hopefully the foot doctor can solve the problem once and for all. Bad enough to get an ingrown toenail once.

I hope the foot doctor solves this problem! I hate having ingrown toenails and I hope what is done to my toenail on May 16th does the trick! I am taking a vacation day that day and the next so I can take time to heal and stay off my feet!
