I am stressed!!

I have too much going on. I cancelled my doctor's appointment because I didn't feel like going out. Just that. And now I have to drive clear out of my comfort zone on Friday morning to take my grandson to a court ordered competency assessment. It scares me to death. I don't know the area. Usually I would drive to the place before hand and be assured I know where it is. But now I just don't have the gas. I have no money and no credit card in case we run out of gas. I don't usually drive out of town because I have an old 1991 car with nearly 200,000 miles on it and this place is in a nearby town that is pretty much a part of this one now but way out. If the car breaks down it will be quite a price to haul it in to my mechanic and ,again, no money. And if we run out of gas I have no one I can call. No family, no friends in the area. Ugh! Probably nothing will happen(hopefully) but I am stressed over it just the same. Then in the first week of May we have our housing inspections with people coming in to look over our apartment. It is invasive and there is always the chance we won't pass. Can't afford to get the rugs done this time. Last year it was in August and I was able to get the rugs cleaned. I usually do them after the Summer because kids are in and out all day playing and why clean them then? My grandson has so much stuff. With his legos and stuff he makes. And the stuff is all over. I keep trying to get them(daughter and grandson) to get rid of some of it but........!! I don't go down there. I stay upstairs. So I hope she enjoys cleaning it all up. Do you have stressers? Do you get panic stricken? Do you always think of the worst scenario? I sure do! Your thoughts....

Lately, it seems like their are many things out there causing many issues and it can be quite stressful. Many times it is financial or things to do with my job, etc. Lately I just try to remember to think and keep positive with everything and hope for the best form there. Trying to find ways to keep my mind occupied on things less stressful often helps a lot as well.

Yes, I think keeping your mind on other things is a very good idea. Job and financial huh? Not fun at all. I used to have a very complex job. I am so glad I don't have to do that anymore. So many steps and things to remember. And it seems no matter how well I did they always wanted more.

Yes, I have always been a worry wart too. I made it to his appointment okay. Am still stressed until this inspection is over. And the bank figures out what the problem is online with their site. I haven't been able to get into the site consistantly for several weeks now. Thank you for the kind words.

I wish that I could give you a hug as this is mega stress for you. Break it down into steps and this may help you. Can your daughter pay for the extra gas? Can you borrow the extra money needed from a friend to tide you over? Having enough gas would help remove some of the stress. Can you go online to find out exactly where this place is? Knowing where it is may give you confidence. Now, you must communicate with your daughter and tell her what you expect to be accomplishe by the end of the month with regard to house cleaning. Does she understand the urgency and necessity of this? I would hate the fact that my home could be inspected by outsiders. What are they looking for exactly? Don't worry about the rugs. She can spot clean and vacuuming using a lot of elbow grease to get things spotless. I do hope this helps my friend

I hate driving out of my comfort zone also. The other day I had to take my daughter to get her nose repierced because it grew up on the inside when she took her nose ring out to change it. She put a straight one in and they don't always go all the way through. Hers didn't and her inside healed up. So she tried to get in the nose stud corkscrew stud and it was threading under the skin but wasn't going through the hole because it closed up. So it was raining and it was out of my comfort zone. I was nearly crying to get there. But on the way home it wasn't raining and I was okay.

I have mine pierced now. I love mine. I'm not taking mine out until its time to, and then I want a tiny fliwer with a duamond diamond in the center there. I pierced my own ears when I was 12. I could have frozen my nose with ice and done it myself, but I had it done professionally.

oh no dear, you already have enough on your plate without that court ordered assessment and this inspection of your home. I am also one of these who think about the worst scenarios and then need to calm myself down and say, maybe it will not be as bad as this. I also dont feel well when I have to get somewhere and I dont know exactly where it is and how I get there. But with hours long daily commute from home to work and back I have learned to feel better in such situations by now after doing that for nearly 8 years. Good that you put your foot down and tell your daughter she should clean up the mess your grandson causes.

Oh, yes! And on top of these stressers I haven't been able to get into my online banking for the last several weeks. Tech after tech has helped me and they are still having issues. SO I have been very careful and still went over drawn. The bank was going to charge me fees but decided not to. Thank goodness. I am beside myself with worry about this one. All in all I am stressed to the max. And my daughter doesn't like cleaning all his mess he makes constantly but I cleaned up after her and her daughter so now she can clean and cook and all the stuff I did alone. And now she can see what it is like.

You poor one with these banking problems on top of it all..... I am glad the bank didnt charge you fees this time as it was not your fault. I see that your daughter doesnt want to clean up the mess but no matter whether she is stable or not its still her kid making the mess so she should be the one who clears up at least the most part of it if not all of it. Please keep us posted about the inspection and how the appointment of your grendson goes.

They inspect your house to see if it's clean? Wow. Here I thought that would be a good thing for us since it would mean all the hoarded stuff would be gone. (Some of it is still here, too YUCK) I get stresses everyday. Lately the brother has been acting wierd with me and lots of other stuff happening with favoritism again the other day--it never stops! If it's quiet for awhile, something happens again with them. I hope everything goes well, look at it as a challenge and maybe you can get through it better.

We live in housing and they do an inspection annually. I have stresses daily as well. With my grandson and up and coming events. I am trying to look at as an adventure. Once we get there I will have to wait for atleast an hour. Wish I had a tablet or something to use. Boring! Could be two hours.

I can understand what you are going through but I hope you will not overwhelm and beat yourself up. You have done what you can and to your limits, no one is going to fault you. I know there are many things that needs to be done in a short span of time but you are not alone. Like any shipwreck situation, there will always be things and people around at our sides which can help us out of our situation, I hope you will find them and not hesitate to ask or reach out in your hour of need. All the best and be positive.

I am trying to be positive. No, there is no one to help. We have no family and no friends near by. It is just my daughter, my grand daughter and my grandson. That's it!

i ALWAYS do over absolutely everything. its why ive had an inhaler since years before i got the emphezema diagnoses. it was for panic attacks. i also got stressed over thinking the worse would happen and the kids would always keep things from me so i wouldnt stress. the only time i got any rest from it was the 8 yrs i had my late hubby. i always said, well, if i think the worst will happen im not so stressed when it does, im prepared and if it doesnt, im so relieved im estatic

I get stressed out like this from time to time. My landlord had insulation put in the sides of the house I live in (I live in the upper apartment) plus they had to come into my apartment to check to put in a new thermostat, insulate the attic, check my apartment to make it was insulated probaly, then they worked on my furnace to make sure it was energy efficient and even had a fan put in my bathroom's ceiling! I had my place invaded for over a week! I was so stressed out and couldn't wait until they were done! This was in the fall of 2011. I almost forget! I got a new frig, thanks to my landlord! I was not told when it was going to be delivered and one night I came home to a new fridge and a mess! I was not happy and let my landlord know it! They also had to put a new door on the entrance to my apartment. I knew about that! Anyway I know how you feel! I hope things get better for you!

Oh! I would hate having people in and out. I like to be in my room with no clothes on sometimes and the guy that does the inspections just walks right in. I had words with him one year and now he knows. They also check the smoke alarms and it wakes me up. I am a late night person so I sleep until 1p. some days. The cats freak too when there are new and different people in the house. They come and jump on my bed and are hiding under the bed at times. I wish we could get some painting done. We have live here for six or seven years and no painting. It really needs it. Sounds like you have a nicely energy efficient apartment now.

well, yes, all of us has experienced to be stressed with something... but what I believe is the amazing thing happened always in the time that we are so broken heart and hopeless.. it has happened for me many times.. these days what I do is just I try to think of what I have but not to think about the list of what I do not have.. I prefer to make a list on what I can be thankful, even if that is only to breath in and out... or just to look at the sky and see a birds fly... with just little little things I give hope to myself and I pass hard times of my life... I close myself to God and I pray and I leave everything for him and i keep my trust.... that is the way we go... try to think of what you have and say thanks to God for whatever is there... all will pass.... have you ever seen clouds will stop sun forever? nope, they are just temporary ,, nothing is permenant... keep faith on God.. make yourself relax and take some deep breath., close your eyes for a while and do not think about anything... then make a smile and say everything is alright now... Have a great day and God bless you

I have been under so much stress myself. I am taking classes at JoAnn's and Quiltique, but with so many things to do between errands, Randy's doctor's appointments, and cleaning house it seems like I never have time to do the things I need to do or want to do such as working on my projects. I know money is tight with us as well and randy is unable to work because of his foot condition. There are no jobs available in our area and even though I want to start my own online business I have not been able to get things made so I can sell them. The house is a mess and yet neither Randy nor my brother will help clean house. I get stuck doing it all and nothing seems to work when it comes to getting them to help. I make a list of what needs to be done and my list gets ignored. I complain and yet they sit there and do not lift a finger. If there is a night where I ask them to cook they end up going out and bring in fast food which is a waste of money. I have had a couple of panic attacks, but I push onward.

The world can be pretty stressful at times and it can also be a lot of work. It is very easy to get caught up in something bad you heard on the news, on a new policy you don’t agree with, or on an arguments you got into with your friends. Stress happens, bad things

I'm sorry your so stressed! I would be too, I am the same way as you are. I really hope everything goes well for you Friday. I know you cannot help but to worry, but I am praying everything will be fine for you. =) I do very much stress about things I cannot change, all the time. We are behind on rent this month and I am stressing so badly about that. I know there is nothing I can do right now, and worrying won't change things and it won't give me the money to pay the rent. My husband won't be paid until next Wednesday so it will be a while. We have no money to get us by before his first pay check so I am worrying about that as well. He doesn't have the gas money to get back and forth to work all week, I have no idea how he's going to get there every day and back... We would like to get out of this house, to move into another place very soon. But with all of the money problems we are having we don't think it will happen for a while. But there's things in this house that are falling apart! Stove, AC unit, Plumbing, Holes in walls, Hot water heater leak, etc... So we want to get out so bad but just can't with not enough money for the move!! All of this is driving me batty as I am sure you can tell. I stress when there is nothing I can do to change things!

I am so sorry that you are going through these troubles at this time. I hope that it ends soon. Stay strong and keep calm and if you are a praying person then pray. Is there any funding you can get from anywhere to help you?
