Turns out I have a kidney stone. That's why I been really sick since last wed and having those high fevers etc. He noticed it on my blood work Friday but thought I would pass it with the antibiotic he gave me but then on my results my liver function and kidney function were still off so I didn't pass it. I have to go into the hospital tomorrow night and do an infusion of antibiotics and then having surgery Friday morning to dissolve the kidney stone. I guess they are left from when I had my gallbladder removed over a year ago. I hope after having this done I will start feeling better again. This would also explain why I been so dizzy the last few days as well. Just thought I would give you guys an update.

I had a kidney stone about 30 years ago and the pain was like giving birth to a child without medication (which I've done). I will never forget it. I also had my gallbladder removed about 8years ago - I didn't know that you could still get stones. Now I am worried. I hope that you get well soon

What happened was when I had my gallbladder removed a duct got left there and they think inside that duct is a stone. So their going to do a scope on me Friday to get a better look then with the scope cut the duct open to pass the stone and hopefully this will resolve the issue.

hi Blodie I am so glad you now know whats been making you so sick I hope when you get through the surgery you will than start feeling much better, I have been fortunate in not having a kidney stone,. I did have gall stones a number of years back and had my gallbladder out.It was an easy surgery in overnight then home and back to work in a week.So I do hope it all goes really well and you will soon be home and feeling better again.
