Are you kidding me? Someone stole the BOLTS?

I went out to mow my lawn today and about a minute into mowing the mower came to an abrupt stop and the engine spun halfway around. Upon investigating I realized that the bolts have been removed all around the engine! What the heck?!?!? JUST the bolts stolen?
I ended up having a kid I used to work with and his friend come over tonight and mow for me in order to get it done before it got too crazy. They are trying to start a lawn care business, so it worked out for both of us.

Oh, I just remembered a guy that stole my flashlight!!
He was doing work on our trailer when we first moved in.. they were trying to get my washer/dryer hook ups installed which was supposed to be done before we moved in but wasn't.. so they were there working for the first week or so after we moved in. They worked till late in the night and he asked if I had a flashlight. We had a nice big one we let him use.. and he left with it and never came back! Someone else had to finish his work, and he ended up fired a few days later so I never got my flashlight back!

well that is a first for me to hear about that could have hurt you real made and your luck that nothing has happen to you over this it is great that you have some one that you could call to take care of your yard I have never had stuff like that stolen but one year at Christmas some one cut down a pine tree in my yard

yes I guess they did not have the money to buy a christmas tree so they cut down one of mine

Man, people are selfish and greedy. At our church the copper keeps getting stolen from the air conditioner. It seems to be a problem for a lot of people. People steal it and then sell it. It's so bad that now they take the names of people who try to pawn copper. They try to match it to recent robberies.

Steal bolts? How crazy is that? I am glad that you got the problem solved though. I had panties stolen from me in the U.K. when I was going to College but cannot think of anything else.

Wow that is weird that someone stole the bolts off of your lawn mower that is an incredibly weird thing to steal. I have never really had anything weird stole from me but I have heard of a really funny thing that has been stolen from someone close to me. One lady had a bunch of fake flowers that she had out in front of her house stolen and another guy had a fake plastic rabbit stolen from his house.

bolts from your lawn mower unless it was someone trying to play a
joke on you...maybe the friend who is trying to start the business??

That sounds like exactly what happened lily! I bet they were trying to figure out a way to steal the whole mower but something stopped them...
We had that happen here, we have a dirt bike chained up and they were taking some parts off and left the rest of it. We are thinking maybe the dogs heard them and they got scared away!

Sounds like things they do here in Mexico. here they even steal the porch light bulbs. its very sad. Have a great night or day there.
