My husband and I decided to spend the day at the beach today. Living in Puerto Rico with so many beaches surrounding us we don't get there as much as I would like. Anyway my husband's, cousin and his parents joined us. It was a beautiful day on the beach and the water was warm and gorgeous. We ate and drank and enjoyed each other's company. How did you spend your Friday!

I had a busy day cleaning up in my bedroom. I remember the beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico. I went wo Puerto Rico the first time over 40 years ago. My father was working at the university then and he invited us for Christmas and New Year. WE spent lovely vacations in San Juan.

Tomorrow will be my day of cleaning the house completely. That is why we decided to go to the beach today because it also would be less crowded. I live in the opposite side of the island from San Juan. The beaches are warmer because its the carribean side where in San Juan its the Atlantic Ocean which is cooler. However, all the beaches here are beautiful.

That sounds like a lot of fun. Mentioning the beaches reminds me of when I went to Key West. I just stayed home and worked on the computer, packed and things like that. I am pushing myself real hard right now so when I move I can have some time to do things.

Where are you moving too and from where? If you work hard to get things done then you will find the time to do the things you love to do. Take care and good luck in your move.

I am only moving from the eastern slope of Colorado to the western slope. About 5 1/2 hours away. I love it on the western slope. I lived there for 30 years and it is my type of living.

It must be wonderful and blissful to live on Puerto Rico. I liked hearing about your day on the tropical beach. On Friday I went to a Zumba dance class for an energetic time and then had a relaxing time in the jacuzzi. I did some clutter clearing before and after my break to enjoy myself. April is the clutter clearing month you see.

Zumba classes have to be so much fun, my sister goes these classes too. I don't have any near me here in Puerto Rico. I feel I can do it in my house with my own music. Yes, and April is my spring cleaning month for me. I did the windows earlier in the month, yardwork is done one day every week. Today will be spent cleaning the entire house and laundry. Closets have been down along with the chest of draws. Have a wonderful weekend.

Still working in the office on Friday...unfortunately. However, all of us at the office had a gathering for dinner and drinks. We visited a Korean BBQ restaurant which was really quite good. It was an all girls meeting where we would talk casually about almost everything. We avoided the North Korea outburst but could not avoid talking about the recent Boston Bomb Attack and the Sichuan earthquake. Anyway, food and service was great and we were there till closing time where my husband surprisingly showed up to pick me up.

Sounds like a good time for everyone. I remember when I worked and we had luncheon they were so good. We never wanted to go back to work, especially on a Friday afternoon.

You are very fortunate to live near such beautiful beaches. So, you get to go outing in the beach with your husband and family members. It is a real fun to go outing like this in groups. Family members get together is the most joyous occasion . I had a usual Friday with nothing special. Getting all house chores done and do a little MyLotting in between the spare time. After dinner we had our home meetings in one of the church member's house .

That sounds like a wonderful time. I wish I could go to the beach, it beats what I did today. I basically took an exam, and did some surveys. I really enjoy the beach, and wish I could go more often. Maybe once I am in a better financial situation I could afford to go. I will even save up to go to the beach when I can afford to save up for it. It's definitely something that is worth saving up for.

You don't have a beach near you, I'm gathering? If you don't that would explain how you have to save up money to go. I live in Puerto Rico so it didn't cost anything to go to the beach.

It is such a blessing to live near the beaches. But sometimes people who live near the beaches don't enjoy the place as much as the tourists who visit from afar. Maybe because they were living in this kind of environment, they have become so acquainted wand find it no more exciting to their sight. Anyway, spending weekend at the beach is the best to do. I love beaches especially during at night where only the moon gives light around and then we would build bonfire and play around.

Exactly, they go with the flow instead of taking advantage of their surrounding and enjoying themselves. I believe my neighbors are like that. I never see any of them going to the beach.

Wow what a beautiful and romantic way to spend a friday! It´s 20 hrs here and my husband is finishing his labor day. He´ll do jogging for a while. I don´t jog with him because I have a headache, I´m still recovering from an accident. When he comes back I think will have a "bed" friday night. Maybe some movies (just movies). That will be wonderful to me because I´m feeling really bad. Blessings Lelin... dainy

That is what we ususally do on a Friday night watch movies in the comfort of our home. Eating popcorn and drinks. Its so much better then being at a club or bar. I hope you feel better and that you enjoy your evening.

How lovely to just take a day off and go somewhere beautiful. Good on you. I spent the day rushing around at my p/time job as having no car, I have neglected to go there. I also showed the apartment I mange to a realtor and she was very late and stayed late so that delayed me somewhat. I then went to the arket to buy fruits and vegetables and collapsed on my bed aboiut 5 pm. I cooked a simple supper about sixish and now am watching a movie and mylotting suring the commercials

Today was interesting. I took my daughter to our local tattoo shop and she got her tongue pierced. I thought it would look nasty, because all of them that I've seen look awful, but you cannot see my daughter's when she talks and her speech isn't slurred like I see so often on people. I was hacing a hissey fit until she talked to her hubby about it. He wasn't a happy camper but he didn't say no. I videoed it.

My daughter had one done years ago without me knowing about it. It was disgusting to me and once you take it out there is a hole there for good. The tongue does not close up the hole. It will be there forever. My daughter does not have it anymore but she talks about doing it again and I keep telling her not to do it. You have a seven year old daughter. I don't want her to get any ideas when she is older. Like saying "well mom you have it why can't I?"

Wow, that's awesome! Sometimes our work and stuff to do keeps us so busy that even though we are right in front of a nature getaway like beaches, we can't simply make the time to hang out and have fun right there. Good for you, my Friday is like any usual busy end of the work week.
