Though his flight was really delayed last night, i am still glad he is back.. and he even got us some pastillas from nueva ecija! yum! i like it as they were made from cow's milk and it tasted so pure. Though it was a bit expensive but it was really worth it.
Anyways, the kids were glad to have him back too!

I can imagine how happy you and the kids are seeing him back.
Sometimes, when our hubby would be away for a day or two, it makes us realize we can't live without them.
YUMMY! I like pastillas too!

Well, I understand you perfectly, it must be a pleasure to have your husband back home after a trip.
Honestly, before now I had no idea what they were the pastillas (at first, given the name, I thought it was a typical Spanish meal).
Only after doing a web search, I realized that they are typical sweets of the Philippine Islands.
In fact, the ingredients are:
2 cups powdered milk
1 can, 14 oz condensed milk
sugar for coating
They are sweet, in my opinion delicious to eat!
