I hope you are not joking. Seriously did you eat the bougainvilla 'flowers' which are actually not flowers but leaves which are brightly colored and resemble petals. The flower is a very small part at the centre.I don't know about Marigold and Gumamela flowers but I guess if you're still kicking after eating this stuff it should be OK. Have a nice day.

at first i was laughing upon seeing it on my plate hahaha but i thought lettuce tastes good the first time I ate it but it tasted better with a dressing so i tried eating those flowers i mentioned. i tried eating it with and without a dressing.. it tasted really different but its oddly good hahahha the dressing was like wasabi paste but its not sticky or like a paste.. its not sticky, its liquid..colored green..spicy.. the dressing's taste is dominant. so the veggie salad tasted good in my taste buds hahahha

I haven't tried them, and this is the first time I heard that they can be made into a salad. And I am not sure if I would want to, because when we were kids, we would use gumamela and mix them with soap or dishwashing liquid to make blow-bubbles.

bougainvilla's tasted bland, marigold tastes a lil bitter, sweet and bland after staying in my tongue for a few seconds. gumamela tasted sweet and bland, i dont know hahahha these are the tastes of the flowers without the dressing. i forgot to ask the name of the dressing.. its spicy and sweet, colored light green.. i think it has wasabi paste, pepper, mayo, vinaigrette and a lil garlic... the flowers tasted so good with the dressing. i felt full even though i only ate 2 servings of the salad.. when i burped, it smelled flowers hahahha

There's a place here in our province that serves this kind of salad. I've never tried it though. And I think it's worth trying. But I don't think I will like it.
