Analysing myLot earnings

Let's not live in a fools' paradise. Honestly how much time did you take to earn those 10 dollars in myLot? I had to struggle to the bone to get there. It sometimes took more than a month. If not for those writing tasks of the bygone era my earnings did not matter at all. But myLot took me to sites where there was more money. myLot gave me friends, knowledge hitherto inaccessible. Also, we are at a transition phase and to rate the new upgrade at this juncture without testing it would be unwise. What's your view?

Yes, you are very correct that I used to take ages for reaching the minimum payout and that includes me. I reached my last pay out last month after a gap of nearly four months because I was not regular here. What we earned on mylot - i.e. by adding new friends to our list and by acquiring knowledge is beyond any earning. Friends and knowledge gained are priceless and we should value that.

Not just you but many here have not earned much but they have continued because of other factors.

You are right Allknowing. Mylot was more than an earning site for me. I feel really ashamed because I´m the fool. In 5 years I made $25.1. It took me 4 years to make 20 then I funded my account and posted some tasks, and in the old interface I had $4.5 at my tasks funds. I was reaching the 9.60 before this major change. So I received 20 then I funded 10, I lost 4.5 of them, but I´ll gain 9.60 on the 15th. So this makes $25.1 in five years. Wow! I´m so fool. But I found many hearted friends here. Mylot opened to me the heart of many people around World. That´s why I´m still writting here, without earnings. Blessings Allknowing... dainy

That is what I am trying to bring out here. The money that one earned in myLot was not the reason why many continued and stayed for even as long as 7 years. I am grateful to myLot for what it has done to me. Most of my friends here have my interests and so it is a joy to share my real life activity here.

As far as I am concerned ,I made some money in mylot over 7 years and on an average it would been 10 dollars once in four to five months.[in fact it would even be six].I would have earned a bit in tasks. I did not use other info available in mylot too much except for mypages 5 which is no longer valid[and I did not get any payment there] and some insgnificant amount in AC. So, to me mylot layout and the navigation was to my liking and I liked the atmosphere there. I agree that we will all resist some change and have to wait and watch. However, I am slihtly impatient this time and I cannot like this lay out. I don't like 'Copy cats' allknowing! That is me .What to do!

As long as I can post, comment, respond without any hassle that is all that matters to me. At the moment there are some hitches and GAA is working on them. When I got my new keyboard I could not work on it and I complained. But now I find it is better than my old one. I got iwriter, neobux, humanatic, and so many other sites through myLot. If I am not active there it is my own making. Until I joined here I never earned online. Now I am raring to go!

Alas! But how are we to know that we had "fools" for management in here? They could have been pioneers and educate the worldwide web or webs worldwide with their previous model. Pity...pity...pity.

When I said 'fools' paradise' I was talking about our thinking that myLot is an earning site - wrong.

@allknowing It WAS an earning site irregardless of how much is being paid per post or how long it takes....it DID paid. Once upon a time - at least. It is the FOOLS UPSTAIRS this time....in all fairness! You may want to disagree but check out where most of them (Good Old Members) are today. Bubblews??

@artemeis They were already at Bubblews and also here. We are forgetting that it was myLot that led them to Bubblews

My strategy was to make atleast 50 responses in a day so that atleast, in 20 days, I am sure that I am able to meet the minimum amount.

@allknowing - For 50 response one requires at least 200 minutes (taking an average of 2 minutes per response) and that would mean one was on the PC for three and half hours in a day, which is not easy for everyone.

@dpk262006 Those three and a half hours could fetch my labourer 200 rupees (4 dollars) And as per jenny she says to get 10 dollars she would need to work for 20 days and my labourer would get 80 dollars.for that effort. If a labourer can get that much how much more can a skilled worker earn? One should go in depth to talk about having lost an earning opportunity in myLot!

I am checking in regularly but it just does not seem as connected as it was, and I miss that. It could just be my stubborn resistance to change, I know.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get around the site! To me it looks like a much cheaper website than the previous one.

Sticking around and seeing what happens. It may be that there are people I can only talk to on here, so not leaving unless everybody does.

I hope more users will stick around. We can have fun but join some other site where one can earn. I have already.

According to my own experienced with mylot so far, i think we can earn 10 dollars each month. Even more, of course. It all depends on your own posting. If you do better in mylot, you will earn more from mylot. In my calculation, if you can make about 20-30 good posts in a day, you are able to earn the minimum 10 dollars within a month. You can try it and since mylot has many topic to discuss, you can make many posting easily according to your interest. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I agree with you. There are many benefits to be on mylot. My most important gain from the site is my friends here. They are the only reason why I am still coping with the new version now.

I agree with you. I wasn't earning much with mylot. I didn't even reach payout even once because I didn't have much time to respond and post new discussions. My brother used to mock me for signing up for a site that pays in cents. But I wasn't here for the money, either. Although I'm just new here I have seen how much mylot has helped me. For a while I was really disappointed too about how mylot has changed. But I'm still here (Honestly, I don't know why still keep on coming back everyday.). I think I'll be here as long as there are still people here.

Not many here have the kind of time that one needed to make those 10 dollars but as I have pointed out elsewhere there is so much more myLot provides.
