An experiment: Attractiveness

Is it just me or are most people programmed to only find a woman attractive when she is dressed in hooker attire? Its not a make up thing for sure, so those of you ladies who hate to go out sans make up, don't worry about that. It is the clothes . I have experimented with this. Day one: Throw on one of those curve hugging dresses, with some heels, Put on a little make up and every man and his cousin is looking. Day 2: Not a stitch of make up. Clothes = jean skirt and pink lace halter top. They're still looking. Day 3: Face is made up. Clothes = decent, but not revealing. Very few men have acknowledged my presence. Day 4. No make up. Clothes = decent, but not revealing. Results = same as the previous day. This is possibly the reason that many women dress the way they do. Actually that is not a bad thing if you think about it It helps us women to weed out the losers. Who is looking at us when we are all dressed like that? Perverts? The kind of guys who will only ever be interested in between your legs? Of course. Those men are not looking at you because they think you're pretty (even though you probably are), they're looking because they think you're easy. Plain and simple. Who wants to be thought of like that? So, your best bet is forget about the make up. You don't need it. Simply dress nicely, but not in something that will draw the wrong sort of attention. Then when someone does approach you, they are more likely to be one of the good guys than not. Maybe you'll even have better luck at finding your other half. .

To be honest, I am more likely to go for a girl who DOSN'T look like a hooker, it's kind of a turn off. I like the natural look, maybe a little make up and girlie dress, but not over done. Interesting experiment though.

the dressing doesnt make a girl beautiful it enhance her beauty so even if you are ugly n dress like hooker it wont change anythng.

I believe that this look turns more heads for sure, however I don't believe it's giving the woman positive attention by any means. People might look at her as a great one night stand but I bet a lot of them don't picture a long term relationship or even friendship. Everyone is different I suppose, however I think that the majority of people who would approach a woman looking this way based on appearance only, probably doesn't have the best intentions at heart.

I agree. girls feel the need to show a little skin, and wounder why they get a guy being rude, wanting to sleep with them or calling them everything she isnt. Its because the feel hey, if she doesnt respect herself neither should i respect her. Now of course you have that one guy who just doesnt care what you have on he just wants to be rude because its who he is. but thats only 1/100 rite.

I think many women dress that way because society promotes that as "beatutiful". They do it for themselves more than anything because theyre wanting look the best, a feel good emotion blocking their sense from what they attract because they crave that attention from anyone after getting it for so long.. Comes from my town anyways.

How did you gage (sp?) 'whether men acknowledged your presence'? If YOU were concentrating on 'how indecent your exposure,' who's to blame if the guys around you SHARED that focus?

Uncle Doc, I think you missed the whole point there. This wasn't about being treated badly because of how you're dressed. All I can say is read or reread the whole post or tell me what you don't get.

@cupkitties was the point something like 'Don't worry about how attractive you look, worry about how good the things you do are'?
