No Offense, But It Creeps Me Out...

...when I find out people are 'following' me. What?! What does that mean? Are they following my every move, monitoring my every word? AM I BEING STALKED?!! OK, OK, a little melodramatic and overboard, but it still makes me want to back down into oblivion and anonymity when I think someone is getting updates on what I say.

i kinda feel the same way....i don't know these people...i didn't give them permission to follow me. Wish they would go back to when you had to be ASKED...(just like on facebook) whether someone could friend/follow you...

See my short explanation of "Settings" above, Liz. I agree that FB appears to offer more control but, in fact, their security in this respect is not as good as you might think and depends, to a large extent, on the way that your 'friends' have set their permissions.

Haha I feel you! I had the same issue before but now, I'm pretty much ok with it. I mean, there are times people follow you since your post are interesting and such so that's a good thing. On the other hand, there are people who follow you for the sake to have people in their circle or something. Well, I think we can control who can follow us or not :P

I don't feel too bothered as if I didn't want people to see anything I'd written then I wouldn't post it....with the exception of drunken posts, then I sometimes wish nobody had seen them.
