Politics or down right bullying?

Politics lately is not what it use to be. Instead of debating they call each other names, at times borderline hate speech. Instead of making law, they manipulate bills with vague wording. At times only the original writer knows what the bill really is for.Slipping earmarks in between so not to be noticed. It seems priorities like education, infrastructure, job creation are put aside unless used as bargaining chips for someones pet project. All the while placing blame on others, while everybody else gets to suffer. Law after law gets passed when there's already the same laws in place, just not enforced. As everyday people work twice as hard to pay tax after tax, while they play golf with the same people they despise in public view. Laws bully citizens, taxes bully citizens & businesses, while they bully each other. Yet they seem surprised kids get bullied in schools, as though they aren't seen as role models. For any regular person to win an election(or even be in the election) you have to pick a side and be without moral, or you will never win.Unless you have a large amount of money, but then you already are running things.

Politicians neither hate nor love. The people are always befooled in election. The politicians always take the advantage of people's folly. The public is badly forgetful and forgets the past injuries given by politicians. Thanks.

That just sounds like a bunch of one sentence catch phrases. How does calling another elected official a terrorists,or extortionist a sign of affection? When given a choice between a douchbag or a piece of crap which would you pick?

@redspot The condition of politics is not the same in every country. I can say only one thing only a wearer knows where the shoe pinches.

With the Citizen's United ruling, big money in politics is a given, unfortunately. And if the Supreme Court rules on McCutcheon the same way, it will get even worse. And if you follow the money, you will see that Democrats raise about as much as Republicans. Some corporations give evenly to both parties. It makes you wonder if we really have a two party system in this country.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the whole two party system is a sham. You have one minute the President and Speaker of the house going at each others throats, the next their buddy, buddy playing golf. If you look back the thing that gives it away is no matter who the president is they always seem to make executive orders that give the executive branch powers over certain areas like transportation, communication, finance, military, any necessary part of national infrastructure during a time of martial law. It's like each president adds one or two more orders each term and the best one is the latest one that makes all the previous executive orders from past presidents all go into effect at the same time. When corporations become the largest contributors to areas of government, like the pentagon and chevron. There's no way the pentagon would go against the corp that supplies 90% of the oil/gasoline needed for it to operate with so many vehicles, sea, land, and air that require both. Then with the major universities from which most congressional, and presidential candidates graduate from, without the contributions from foundations, like Rockefeller Foundation would not even be in operation today.Influence through money is very powerful thing when your only reason your doors are open is because of these donations. The judicial Branch is a joke. When you help rewrite certain legislature(ACA) in order to make it constitutional, includes calling a fine, a tax, then you no longer are judging but are collaborating with Executive branch to implement law.Given the fact most of these corporations,BP,Chevron,Exxon,General Electric,General Motors,AT&T,Chase,Wells Fargo(and so many more to put down) have either as shareholders, or trustees the same names that operate a majority of foundations, like Rockefeller Foundation,Rockefeller family&trust,Brother's Rockefeller Fund,(and so many more to put down) that contribute or started by endowments to universities such as Yale,Harvard,Stanford,Brown(and so many more to put down) and are the founders of associations like Board of Education,American psychiatric Association,American Dental Association,(so many others) and original founders of the United Nations,The Council on Foreign Relations,The Bilderberg Group,The Trilateral Commission,The Federal Reserve(again and so many others) it seems clear through money, influence, and charitable fronts, who really is in control of the government. Every president since Jimmy Carter are members of the CFR, and went to one of the Universities mentioned. Yet they may act differently in public view, they all have played their role as a whole towards one common goal. Unfortunately from what is going on all around the nation today, it doesn't look like it benefits the American people. The Cruel Irony of it all is Presidents like Woodrow Wilson(no comment),Roosevelt,Kennedy, all the way to Obama, have mentioned them in speech's or during their presidential campaigns. Nobody cared,But that's what happens when TV shows get in the way of real life.
