There needs to be a period after luck to make a proper sentence. People tend to confuse bad decisions with bad luck. Bad luck refers to unforeseen trouble. It insinuates that the person is not responsible for or has no control over the bad things that happen to them. This might be true in some cases, but sometimes the trouble is completely preventable and would not have occurred had they been more careful.
