I have two great reminders of what to be thankful for--each of my kids was born at Thanksgiving time. I have a brother and sister with similar dates, as well. Thanksgiving is our major family holiday, instead of Christmas. I am up, it is four a. m. and I am going to Guthrie, Oklahoma for a long weekend. I probably will not post while gone. Have wonderful holidays, if this is one for you. See you next week.

I see this discussion is pretty old, but I'll reply to it anyway. ;) It's interesting that most American people have Thanksgiving as their major holiday. I'm not sure, but I don't think it works like that in any other country in the world. Here in Brazil, the major family holiday is Christmas, but we have such a great party when it's Carnival and New Year's Eve. No-one even knows when it's Thanksgiving (well, at least I don't.) Cheers, my friend. :)
